Chapter 9

{Sonic's Pov}

I sat here in the darkness with him, he just chuckled as he stood over me,and i did nothing, even when i knew i was slowly fading every second

"Pathetic, I thought you'd put more of a fight" He laughed

but i couldn't speak, i couldn't feel, i couldn't do anything

"Such a shame really, your life would have been better if your brothers actually tried to take care of you properly" He stated with a smirk as i looked up at him

"It's not their fault!" i snapped, i glared at him and he didn't answer straight away

"then who's is it? they shouldn't blame you for the loss of your parents" he laughed, and i felt it, like a knife was just stabbed into my back. 'they don't care about you, they never have and never will" He laughed darkly

"Even if they don't, i still care" i growled, that's when i saw him, he looked like me, but his fur a navy colour, horns on his head, one eye green the other red, chains covered him, but he wore them like jewellery...

"Well would you look at that" he chuckled

I only stared at him, I still felt weak, but I felt something else

"Wake up, its not your time, and your not ready to give up just yet" he grinned at me, all malice leaving him, I went to say something but nothing came out

He slowly faded away as I looked down at my hands and see that they began to fade as well

I suddenly felt myself gasping as too much air filled my lungs as I sat up rapidly my vision blurry as I felt someone hold me still and pull the mask off of my face, letting me breathe normally

My breathing ragged as I started to calm, everything still hurt, but not as bad as it had before, my vision clearing as I looked around, people in white coats told me, just by looking at them and the equipment that I was in a hospital

"C__ yo_ he_r __?" The voice I couldn't hear properly as my vision blurred again and I passed out
