when i speak
i make my own earthquake
my body shakes
bones ache
i tremble and mountains crumble
dignity, you wreck me
when i speak
i sound like a ghost girl
on the moon
watching earth from far away
translucent words
transparent echoes
when i speak
i burn like hungry fire
i blush lava
magma in my blood
volcano emotions
i explode
No, implode
i disappear into my mouth
trip my words with my tongue
when i speak
i climb for miles with bone-raw bloody fingers
i'm afraid of heights
