Selina and Dean were packing up the weapons when Dean began patting his pockets.
"Crap..." Dean muttered
"What?" Selina asked
"I think I left one of my clips on the counter..."
Selina rolled her eyes and sighed "Say no more. I swear you'd be lost if it weren't for..." all she had done was walk into the living room and she felt the pull. Selina closed her eyes, hoping that maybe she was imagining it.
"I'm sorry, Selina," Dean shined a UV light revealing the outline of the devil's trap.
"What are you doing, Dean?" Selina questioned turning towards her brother "Let me out,"
Dean shook his head and Selina could see the internal battle brewing in his eyes. "It's for your own good," he turned and began leaving the room.
"I hate you!" Selina cried out "Do you hear me, Dean Winchester?! I hate you!" she slid down onto her knees as she broke down into tears.
Dean had stopped briefly at the door, listening to her outburst. But knew it had to be done. Sam didn't say a word as Dean got in the Impala.
"When we get back, she'll forgive you," Sam reasoned
"Yeah," Dean sighed as he tried to start up the Impala but it wouldn't start up. Both he and Sam looked a bit worried. Suddenly Bobby showed up outside Dean's door, scaring the boys with his sudden appearance.
"Where do you think you're going?" Bobby questioned
Dean looked at Bobby and the distributor cap he held in his hand, getting out of the Impala, Dean and Sam walked up to Bobby who was not looking happy. "We got the knife,"
"And you intend to use it without me or Selina?"
Sam came from around the car and stood in the middle next to Dean and Bobby, watching them.
"Do I look like a ditchable prom date to you?"
"No, Bobby. Of course not," Sam said
"This is about me, Sam...and Selina. Ok? This isn't your fight, neither is it Selina's,"
Bobby walked up to Dean, furious by those words "The hell it isn't!"
Dean looked at Bobby, taken aback by his statement
"Family don't end with blood, boy. Besides, you need me, seeing as you benched the only other powerful card you've got," Bobby reasoned
"Bobby," Dean started
"You're playing wounded. Tell me, how many hallucinations have you had so far?"
Sam looked at Bobby, a bit confused by this. He looked over at Dean who turned to look at Sam, tilting his head one time and then turned back to Bobby.
"How'd you know?" Dean asked
"Because that's what happens when you've got hellhounds on your butt." Bobby argued "And because I'm smart,"
Dean looked down on the ground, as Sam watched him.
Bobby handed Dean the distributor cap. "I'll follow." Bobby walked away from the boys, over to his own car. After a moment Dean walked over to the hood of his car, ready to put back the part. "Don't be stopping to pee every ten minutes either,"
Dean stopped in his tracks, shaking his head a bit with a raised brow. He turned around looking back at Sam who looked at him and sighed.

"Hey, Dean?" Sam asked as Dean drove down the road, later that night.
"Yeah?"
"You know if this doesn't uh...this doesn't go the way we want, I want you to know-"
"No." Dean interrupted "No, no, no, no,"
"No what?"
Dean looked over at Sam "No, you're not gonna bust out the misty goodbye speech, okay? And if this is my last day on earth, I do not want it to be socially awkward,"
Sam looked down and out the window and Dean turned back to the road.
"You know what I do want?" Dean reached down to the radio and started up Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive".
Sam looked a bit confused "Bon Jovi?"
"Bon Jovi rocks, on occasion," Dean looked over at Sam to underline his statement. When Sam looked away Dean turned back to the road and began to sing along with Bon Jovi "And I walk these streets. A loaded six-string on my back. I play for keeps." He turned to Sam, nudging him "Come on. 'Cause I might not make it back. I've been everywhere,"
"Oh yeah," Sam sang
"And I'm standing tall,"
Sam laughed and sang along with Dean "I've seen a million faces and I rocked 'em all 'Cause I'm a cowboy. On a steel horse, I ride. I'm wanted,"
Dean looked over at Sam who was really getting into it.
"Wanted!" Sam sang
Dean looked back on the road and Sam smiled as he sang with him. "Dead or alive." Dean began to lose the will to sing and his smile was beginning to fade as he took into the account of the empty back seat...Selina's words echoing through his head.
"I hate you!" Selina screamed "Do you hear me, Dean Winchester! I hate you!"
Sam just continued to sing, laugh and smile, not noticing how Dean was suddenly taking in the lyrics, realizing how much they actually fit him and what was about to come. "Dead or alive. Dead or alive. Dead or alive,"
