Eden despised the idea of lies. She hated the word and the fact that people often did it to her. Some would get her into trouble instead of the perpetrator, and other would be to presumably protect her. Well that's what her parents said before she left with her brother.
Her parents had been the ones to drop the bombshell that she wasn't their child, something she summed at a very young age. She had always wondered why she looked so different from them. Sure she had the blonde hair but that was as far as similarities went. She looked nothing like her supposed family and twin brother. And yet, they had continued to lie to her even after she had asked. Her parents never got her from the adoption agency but instead, found her at their doorstep with a bracelet that she arrived with before she left her life in Keystone, ready to start a new adventure in Central City. Furthest way from her parents.
Instead of a simple normal life like she had hoped she would receive, she gets more than she signs up for after she meets a group in a bar that would certainly change he life. All the stories she read about superheroes saving the damsels in distress in comic books become reality and what she thought she would never find, finds her instead.
