Who is the hybrid?

Chapter 3

Jinyoung was really worried. It has been almost a month since he was living with Jaebeom and who hasn't had his heat yet. Was something wrong with him? Did Jaebeom not feel attraction for him? Why didn't he have his heat yet? His head filled with this questions, Jinyoung went to Mark's hospital without caring about his job, he just wanted to be sure his hybrid wouldn't leave him.

"Hello Mark" Jinyoung greeted his friend with his head hanging low, the moment he entered Mark's office.

"Well, it wasn't a joke this thing of just calling Jaebeom hyung," Mark said with a smile enjoying the situation. His expression changed quickly to a serious one when he noticed Jinyoung's distress "What happened?" Mark asked.

"Is something wrong with me?" The black-haired boy asked taking a seat on Mark's couch. Mark wore a confused expression "Jaebeom hasn't had his heat and I think... I think I'm the problem, maybe I'm not attractive to him... I don't want him to leave me" Jinyoung sounded so worried.

Mark couldn't help but laugh at his friend worries, but as soon as he heard Jinyoung's soft sobs, he knew it wasn't a good idea to laugh. Smiling he sat down next to the boy and made Jinyoung rest his head in his lap.

"Jaebeom was here a couple of days ago for a complete health checkup," Mark said "He wants to be the healthiest hybrid for his human, you Jinyoung, his only human," Mark explained why Jaebeom was there before.

Jinyoung got up quickly and looked at Mark with a confused but angry expression. Jaebeom didn't tell him that he was going to go for a medical checkup and this only made his worries bigger.

"Some hybrids are lucky enough to find their true mate as Jaebeom did. The person who will complement his soul and share an unwavering bond. Science thought it was a tale for children, but you two are the second couple I met" Mark said with a kind smile.

"Him and I?" Jinyoung asked with teary eyes. Mark has never seen Jinyoung this way, Park has always been a cold, bitter and hard to be close with person. He rather likes this Jinnie, it was nice to see him being in love, in fact, Jinyoung was in love with Jaebeom and even Jinyoung couldn't deny it.

"Jaebeom and you, Jinnie," Mark said with a playful smile and stood up to take Jinyoung's hand and help him to get up "In my opinion, as you don't seem too interested in going to work today, you could go home and spend the day with your hybrid. I'm pretty sure Jaebeom will be happy to let the world know that you belong to him."

"Yeah, I will do it," Jinyoung confirmed. Now all his doubts were refrained and he had a really good idea "Today is the anniversary of our first month living together, I will ask him for a date and then... I will tell him to make me his"

The black-haired boy's eyes were wide open with surprise after realizing what he just told his friend. Mark just laughed and dismissed his friend.

"Good luck Jinyoung"

"What are you doing here so early? Are you sick?" Jaebeom asked worriedly as soon as he saw the younger arrived at home.

"I'm fine Beomie... I want you to put your shoes and jacket on, we are going out" Jinyoung said with a cute smile while he changed his clothes to more comfortable ones, taking his jacket and waiting for Jaebeom next to the main door.

"Where are we going?" Jaebeom asked feeling curious. His human has been changing about his obsession with work, he was more relaxed and wasn't thinking about job 24/7.

"Just follow me," Jinyoung said while he was taking Jaebeom's hand, some of his neighbors greeted them and others looked at them curiously asking why their friendly neighbor was with a hybrid.
