Amnesia

I had woken up to strange smells and noises.

A continuous beeping in my ear.

Could I make it stop?

Something was holding my hand.

Scratch that, someone was holding my hand.

Someone was weeping.

Sobbing.

Crying.

For me?

"Please, wake up. I'm sorry, I'm sorry... I'm so fucking sorry..."

The voice seemed female.

Familiar.

But who was crying for me?

Wanting to see her, I tried to open my eyes.

A wave of pain and exhaustion made me cry out.

The sobbing stopped instantly.

I squinted and caught sight of a lovely looking woman.

Her eyes were red, surely from crying.

Her petite, red lips were quivering slightly.

Her cheeks were of that of a hamster, and made her look cute.

But they were also covered in tears.

Once the woman saw that I had awoken, she pounced and wrapped her arms tightly around my hurting body.

I was rather confused.

Who was this person?

I couldn't hug back, since shock had me under it's spell.

Once the girl pulled away, she proceeded to attack my face with kisses.

We must've been close.

I shook my head and sat up, warm hands keeping me steady.

The girl looked at me with this sort of.... guilt in her eyes.

"I'm sorry for not protecting you, Y/n. "

The woman rested her forehead against mine.

I tried to pull away, and the woman looked at me confused.

"Excuse me, but do I know you?"
