It All Started With A Game (Shownu x Reader)

Chapter 1

Sitting by my two bestfriend, my fingers tapped the black tiles that were moving downwards but with speed and not missing a single tile, the three of us were playing the same game with the same music as if we were fighting who gets the highest.

Minhyuk and Jooheon are my bestfriend.... to be precise, we were actually bestfriend even before they debut, it kinda annoys me how their fangirls keep nagging about staying away from them.

"aniya!! I lost!", Minhyuk whined, interrupting my thoughts but that didn't stopped me from tapping any of the white tiles. Minhyuk pouted as the two of us ignored his well-being, soon enough he tried his best to disturb us both to lose the game.

He poked Jooheon's side which made him jolted from his seat but still his fingers were tapping the black tiles, "yah!! Don't do that Minhyuk-hyung!", he yelled while Minhyuk grinned ear-to-ear. My eyes shifted quickly to gaze at the two of them but the colour in my face changed when I saw Minhyuk smirking at me as if he had something in mind to make me lose the game.

He went behind me. "Minhyuk-ii, don't do anything stupid", I squeaked. He didn't answered and THAT'S unlikely of him to do that.

Something happened to me to which I quickly lose the game.

Here I thought Minhyuk was up to something weird but it was far more unforgivable and embarrassing.

While I was tapping the black tiles, I saw 2 long arms wrapped around my body from behind which made me drop my precious phone on the ground. "Minhy--!", my line was cut off when the said pair of arms released me and apologized.

It wasn't Minhyuk, his voice is much more deeper than Minhyuk. I turn around to see.......none other than the tall..leader, Shownu. My face went ablaze as I saw Shownu's face close to mine. By the look on his face, he too was embarrassed.

"m-mian.. Minhyuk-ii pushed me!", he apologized while I was still in a daze. Both Juheon and Minhyuk laughed out loud, those two....I'll definitely kill them after this.

"i-it's ok", I stuttered? Yah! Why the heck did I stuttered? There's no reason to! I quickly turned my whole body to look at the other two who were laughing their ass off. I picked up my phone and placed both my hands on my hip while cocking an eyebrow. "Jooheon-ii...Minhyuk-ii.....", I said with a low voice which gladly stopped them from their laughing fit to look at me while sweat trickling down from the side of their face.

"you guys do know that you owe me a game", I continued. Then Jooheon pointed to Minhyuk, "but Pet! He did that to you! Not me!", he protested.

"but the way I see it...both of you planned it", I narrowed my eyes to him. Jooheon sighed and went over to me before placing a hand on my head, "pet~ don't be mad at me, but you're allowed to be mad at Minhyuk-hyung though". Minhyuk frowned even more, "a!! Yah!! We were in this together! Don't lie to our pet like that!".

I chuckled silently before I point an accusing finger to both of them with an eye-smile painted on my face, "caught you guys red-handed". The two of them sweatdropped as they stare at me.

"ok fine, this time we'll play fair and square, kkeol(deal)?", Jooheon suggested. I nodded my head hastily with a grin, "what game are we playing next?". Minhyuk put one arm around my neck in attempt to pull me to the both of them.

"let's race! Asphalt! Online!!!", Jooheon wiggled his eyebrow at me. "kkeol~!", I smiled revealing dimples on each of my cheeks. "good! Let's sign in!", Minhyuk grinned before he released me to press the application 'Asphalt 8'.

After signing in, we started a race along with another unknown racer, that's usual though~

"who got last has to buy lunch for this week", Jooheon smirked mischievously. The two of us gave him a thumbs-up before we start the race. At first Jooheon took the lead, but Minhyuk being annoyed by Jooheon grind his own car to Jooheon's, making his car wreck. I took that opportunity to wreck Minhyuk's car and whined at me.

I took all the gasses so I can use my car to sprint as fast as I could.

I took the lead and was proud but this mysterious racer is hunting me down and I don't like it. I tried to lose it but the car was close to mine, guess I have to just stay RIGHT INFRONT of it so it won't drive pass me. Minhyuk-ii and Jooheon-ii were far away from my car so that was a relief.

The finish line was in view which made me grin even wider but seconds later it turns upside down when the racer behind me swiftly moved to one side and went pass me to reach first in line. I stood up from my seat and made a disbelieved face.

"yah! Mweoya!!(what's going on!?) Aish! I hate you mysterious racer! Cheeooonngggmaaaallll shirheo!(reaaalllyy hate you)", I pouted which made me receive an unwanted stare by who knows who. I look up and saw Jooheon stared at me with a dull expression, "you didn't even lose yet you're pissed".

I glared at him which instantly made him surrender.

"okay ok", he looked down while Minhyuk just smiled, he looked behind me but I just tilted my head in confusion. "aniya~ it's nothing... Jooheon-ii lost". I giggled and clapped my hand once with a grin, "so that's why you're slightly angry at me~", I looked at Jooheon. He pouted, "I'm angry because Minhyuk-hyung wrecked my car before I reached the finish line...AND! I was wondering why you hate the mysterious racer that much, he just won the game".

Sighing for the second time, I pouted as a sign of my dissatisfaction, "he cheated". "are you sure he cheated? Not you?", he countered back which made me shrink ten times smaller under Jooheon's sharp gaze.

"you should know that the said 'mysterious racer' is actually someone I know...shouldn't you apologize to him?", Jooheon completed his sentence with a question that was left hanging for me to answer.

"wh...why would I apologize when that guy won first place? It's already ok!", I said before shrinking down ten more level with a pout painted on my lips.
