It All Started With A Game (Shownu x Reader)

Chapter 20

While the others quickly change, I just waited at the door while surfing through webs about any MonstaX news but I got non, that's good! I thought someone knew about Shownu's condition. I sighed in content and smiled happily, then I saw pictures of MonstaX, they were smiling and they were seating on a long table with mic infront of them. 

I zoomed in to the picture and looked at all of their happy faces and stopped to look at Shownu's smile in the picture, "he looks happy here... It's been a while since I last saw him smile like this.. I wanna see him smile like this again", I said to myself while staring at his smile, I stopped my sentence when I felt a coat was put around my shoulder, I look up and was surprised to see Shownu, standing next me and was gently holding the jacket over me.

He smiled at me while peeking a bit on my phone, my face went red as realization hit me that he saw me looking at his face from my phone and he probably heard what I said moments ago. 

"th-thanks Shownu-yah", I bowed my head as a thanks before I put it on comfortably, then what shocked me next was when he helped me zip the jacket that was on me. He held both of my arm and looked at me before nodding and he walked away like nothing happened.

I just stood there, shocked as to what just happened. My face was still red due to the embarrassment that happened minutes ago.

"wae yo?", I heard someone asked me from behind. I turn around and shook my head, "ah, aniyo", it was Hyungwon. "oh? You're wearing Shownu-hyung's jacket", he smirked before he wrapped one of his arm around my neck, "good for you".

"let's go? I'm starving", Minhyuk stretch his smile before he wrapped an arm around Wonho while dragging him out of the dorm.

We took a seat on a 8 seats table and ordered what they wanted to eat, the seat arrangement was, first line: Minhyuk, Jooheon, me and Hyungwon. The second line: Kihyun, Wonho, Shownu and I.M.

I was seating across Shownu and he was looking at me from time-to-time, why though?

When the food was served, Wonho was definitely excited as Ramyun was right infront of his eyes, "ramyun!", he grinned and started digging in happily. I giggled a little then look next to him to see Shownu looking at me, then I remembered, I forced him not to put pressure on his wrist so I turn to look at I.M

"Changkyun-ii, let's exchange seats", I beg to him. I.M looked up at me and tilted his head, "eh? Sure?", he answered with an unsure tone. He got up and I got up too.

Jooheon voiced out, "eh? Pet?", he watched me as I sat next to Shownu and was far away from my two besties. "she wanted to exchange seats with me", I.M answered on my behalf. Hyungwon who is now seating across me smirked, but still his smirk looks like a smile to me.

I turn to Shownu, "since your wrist was hurt moments ago, I'm still not gonna let you used your wrist Shownu-yah, no objection alright?", I blinked my eyes up at him with a smile. He looked at me and shook his head.

"good", I nodded my head and started to grab the jajangmyeon by his chopstick and gently and carefully put it in his mouth and let him chew. I laughed a little as I saw the end of his lips was smeared with jajangmyeon's sauce so I took a napkin and wiped the end of his lips, he grabbed my hand that was wiping the sauce from his lips and he smiled at me.

"hm?", I hummed at him as I fought hard to control my emotion. His lips was parted as if he was about to say something so me being me, was curious to hear what he wanted to say. That was until I cringed when I heard a familiar voice yelling out 'oppa'.

I put down my hand and look straight at my food as the said voice went pass me to go to Shownu. I saw from the corner of my eyes that Shownu was looking at me.

"oppa? I heard you were hurt, heard it from your manager", Min-ah voiced out sadly but sadly Shownu seemed to not give a mind to her at all. "oppa? Oppa mianhae... I don't mean to broke up with you, it was my fault that you hurt yourself", she continued her words again but still I could feel eyes on me from Shownu.

"oppa..?".

"he won't talk.... trust me, he won't answer us neither....we're not sure if he actually did that because of you... or it could be because of he was stress...he still won't talk about it and.... he won't talk to us, not even a single word", Kihyun explained. "jinjja?", she looked at Shownu.

And still Shownu didn't answered.

"um... excuse me, can I seat next to him?", it was her turn to look at me.

Why does it feel hurt? Hearing her shooing me away like that makes my heart shatter into thousand pieces.

But I got up with a heavy heart, letting me follow under her words, just doing as she says.

"yah!", both Jooheon and Minhyuk yelled while standing up, "you can't do that!". Min-ah was confused when she heard what both of them said, "do what?". I held Jooheon and Minhyuk's hands from behind which made them look at me before looking back down on the ground.

"what's going on?", she asked while tilting her head. "Jooheon-hyung and Minhyuk-hyung are having mood swings lately so we only have (name) here to cheer them up", Hyungwon interrupted. I look at him and smiled then I look back at both Jooheon and Minhyuk, I pinched their cheeks, "c'mon... just seat down and eat.. I-I'll just go pay for a while and I'll be back".

I walked away. Still feeling dreadful inside. I just wanted to cry my heart out. But I couldn't.

After I was far away from their table I stopped my pace and let my tears fall down my cheeks, I covered my face and let myself standing there while crying.

Suddenly I felt a hug from behind, since I thought it was Hyungwon because it felt the same like Shownu's hug I just let him. "I-I feel miserable...ttowajuseyo(please help me)", I bit my lip while crying hard in his arms.

"uljima(don't cry)".

I froze.

That wasn't Hyungwon's voice.
