You Forgot Me

"Why me," she asked the universe. "Why her," she continued to ask no body. She looked down at the park bench and down at the mossy ground. She looked up at the sky with her tear streaked face. "Why? Wh-what did I do? Did I not say I l-love y-y," she sputtered before breaking out in more tears. She took her hands as, if by habit, and drug them through her black as night hair and made it a huge mess. She slowly brought her icy blue eyes up to look at the playground sitting in front of her. She saw a girl and a boy, hand in hand, lost in the moment. She blinked and they went away, it was a memory that she couldn't forgert. "I l-l-love y-you! I always h-have," she screamed in the void. She put her head back down and let her hair shroud her eyes. She closed them and whispered,"I knew you w-would f-forget m-me." She felt a hand tilt he face back up, there he stood. "Trust me, I never forgot about you. You're someone that is hard to forget," he smiled that smile that she once loved.
