Our Twisted Fate (GVB Sequel)

Prologue

"He's showing very good vital signs, Mrs. Lee. I think he would wake up anytime soon. But we will still observe him. Prayers are needed and I hope that you don't lose hope."

"Thank you so much, Dr. Hiroshima."

Medyo blurry pa sa pandinig ko ang mga sinasabi nila. Para akong nasa loob ng isang aquarium dahil feeling ko ay may tubig ang tainga ko. But I am definitely sure that I am awake. 

The last thing that I remember is that I got shot by Barbie. 

"OH MY GOD, NATHAN! You're awake! Dr. Hiroshima! Aikee, call Dr. Hiroshima!" The woman rushed towards me and touched me just about everywhere. 

A doctor came inside the room and I felt his stethoscope checking me on my chest. 

Unti unti 'kong hinawi ang kamay niya at pinilit na tumayo.

Nanghihina lang ako lalo.

"Insan naman! Don't move! Mahina ka pa."

Her voice comforted me a lot that I actually laid back, again.

I can't even speak. 

"Salamat naman at nagising ka na, Kuya." Hindi ko nakikita pero alam 'kong umiiyak si Sachi sa tabi ko habang nakahawak sa mga bisig ko. I lifted my arms although it tires me to do so just to pat her head to indirectly say don't cry. 

Nasaan si Eunice? Bakit wala si Ineng?

I can't even speak because of this stupid tube deep down inside me. Just then, I lost my consciousness... again.

I woke up from the sound of people, talking. 

Who dared talk while I'm sleeping---- fuck. 

"NASAAN SI EUNICE?!---- ugh! Fuck!" Napahiga na lamang muli ako nang maramdaman 'kong para akong nilagay sa roller coaster na paikot-ikot.

"Eunice?" Nagkatinginan silang lahat na para bang may sinabi akong  hindi nila alam.

"Nathan naman. Don't stress yourself out muna, okay?" Aikee gently rubbed my arms while saying these words softly.

"Where's Eunice?! I need to see Ineng!"

Nagkaroon ulit ng katahimikan. 

"I fucking need to see Ineng! What the fuck! Where is she?! I want to see her!" I tried taking off everything that was stuck upon my body. 

Fuck it! Eunice is already worrying me.

"Nathan! Please calm down!" My mom tried but no. I want to see her. 

Nurses came rushing in and fucking injected me with something that made me so drowsy. 

"Eunice..." was the last word I uttered. 

"Nathan, we know NO Eunice. You must have been dreaming about her."
