"Did that just happen?" Jeff asked uncertainly.
"I think so."
Sebastian buried his face in his hands. He was fine, really. Nobody needed to point it out. Kurt certainly didn't need to do that for him.
"Sebastian, I'm sorry."
He sighed. "I'm fine. He overreacted."
"No, he's right. We shouldn't have been so rude."
Sebastian shook his head. This is what happened. The apologies, all of the apologies. He hated apologies- they don't make anything better. He's had too many empty promises and apologies for a lifetime.
"We won't do it again, I p-"
Sebastian's head snapped up. "Don't you dare say you promise that." He cut Jeff off. "Don't give me a promise. If you're only going to give me promises and apologies, then leave me alone."
He left the dining hall, leaving them speechless.
