Academy Entrance Part 2- The Test Begins!

This is my first chapter of any one of my books without the POVs. So let's try it out.

Naruto left Iruka with a "Bye Iruka Sensei!" and a wave as he ran off to join the third year's test. There were some other kids who shouldn't have been there either. There were Sasuke Uchiha, Neji Hyuga, Rock Lee, Tenten, Shino Aburame, Kiba Inuzuka, Sakura Haruno, Hinata Hyuga, Choji Akimichi, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and some other guys along with Naruto.

Then there were the actual third year students that were taking the test. They were shocked to see so many younger kids but were kind of happy because they wanted to see the kids fail.

In line, Naruto was behind Shikamaru and in front of Sasuke. He wanted to talk to the Uchiha boy, but when he turned around he was met with a glare that said "Turn around, dobe". He turned around, but he also knew that if the time came, the Uchiha boy needed a lesson on manners.

There was another boy there that Naruto thought was suspicious. He look similar to the guy behind him, but.....no. Could it be?

Sasuke must've noticed because he said "Stop glaring would ya. So there are two Uchihas left. It's only one more. Quit making a big deal." Sasuke said it only loud enough for them two to hear but the sight of his cousin whispering into someone's ear peaked the attention of the other Uchiha and he made his way over to them.

Naruto look and smiled at the guy that stood before him,

He looked at the smiling blonde then at the brooding black and blue haired brat and smiled back at them. "Hello. Sasuke-tan, is this your little friend?" He said trying to provoke a reaction and it worked.

Sasuke started getting nervous, but before he could say anything, Naruto jumped in. "Yeah! Although he keeps looking at me weird." That made the other Uchiha, named Masaki, look at Sasuke with a smirk. He bent down on one knee to get to their height and said. "Come on now, Sasuke-tan ,that's no way to treat a friend." He said. With extra emphasis on the "friend".

Sasuke just replied with a simple, 'hn' as he tried to ignore his older cousin. "Just go away, Masaki-jyuukei. You've already graduated from the academy. No need to bother me." Sasuke said, arms crossed and head down with his eyes closed, trying not to meet eyes with his older cousin. Or Naruto for that matter, for the sake of embarrassment. 

Naruto realized that the fact that Sasuke called his cousin "Masaki-jyuukei" instead of "Masaki-san", the usual suffix for your older cousins, means that they weren't necessarily that close. Or maybe Sasuke was just embarrassed. That was most likely it. 

The Nara kid in front of the two just whispered to himself, "How troublesome. I hope those two aren't in my class."

They all waited the short period of time left, and as soon as they called for the third year test, Masaki left. He said that he was "going to watch" and "good luck". As the group of participants varying from age 6.5 or 7- 11 or 12 entered, they realized that it was just a regular classroom. Nothing that interesting. Or so they thought. But for now, it's just a classroom.

The man there to give the test was no other than Kakashi Hatake himself. But he was unaware that Naruto would he there. As soon as Naruto walked in, he waved and said, "Hey, Kakashi-kohai! Look, It's me!" He didnt say Kaka-nii-chan because of the conversation that they had had on the Hokage faces.

Flashback- Hokage Faces, Previous Day: Naruto was about to leave until he heard a "Wait! I almost forgot!" from Kakashi. "What's up, Kaka-nii-chan?" "We might run into each other tomorrow. If that happens, dont address me as Kaka-nii-chan, but as Hatake-sama." Naruto was not about to say that. "Kakashi-oniichan." "Hatake-sama." "Kakashi-ani." "Kakashi-kohai." "Deal." Naruto ended and they both laughed as Naruto headed home.

A/N: I spent a lot if time noting the Japanese honoraries or name suffixes and just so you know what the ones above mean, I'll tell you.
Sama: someone older than you or higher ranked than you (polite way)
Kohai: elder colleagues (not for senseis, rude to say to parents etc.)
Tan: cute, baby, little, small (for babies of small children)
Oniisama, Niichan, Niisan: little sibling addresses his or her older brother
Ani: older brother
Anyways, back to the story......ACTION

When Kakashi heard himself addressed as "Kakashi-kohai" he felt relieved that Naruto had listened to him but was also confused like everyone else.

While Kakashi was confused by why Naruto as in his test room, although he soon figured it out, the others were questioning why or how those two knew each other. I mean the highly exalted Copy Ninja of the Leaf that was in the bingo book of basically every villain ever, and who obtained the prestigious sharingan mysteriously and knows how to use it too, was being referred to as "kohai"-which is similar to "senpai"- by some strange hyperactive blonde haired kid with unwavering confidence.

"Hello, Naruto. And hello to everyone else in the room. You may now take a seat anywhere in the room." Kakashi replied, sweatdropping at how loud the kid that he thought of as a little brother was being. The reply of everyone in the room was "Hai!" as they took their seats.

"Before I get into anything. I will let go you know this. You will all be split into groups. Of 3. You will be taking your test separately,  but prior to that, we need to cut down on the amount of students we have taking this test. Let me see. Naruto and......." He looked around the room, trying to find someone who might just stand a chance against the knucklehead.  Or at least looked like it. ".........and, you." He said, pointing at Sasuke.

Naruto smiled, getting to put the Uchiha in his place so soon, and Masaki smiled from outside the room window, watching the whole thing. He had a feeling that Sasuke wasngoing to be way more humble after this.
