Soul's P.O.V
" oh. My. God" i heard Tsubaki say across the room. It was kind of in a whisper tone but i still heard her. I looked over and saw her talking to Maka a few rows below, they were leaned in close, ignoring Professor Steins rule of no talking during instructions.
Maka said something quietly to Tsubaki, making sure nobody around them heard. Maka looked lovely just sitting there talking. Her lips, So red from biting it so much. She pushed some of her hair behind her ear, glancing over to where I was sitting. We locked eyes for a moment, her cheeks blushing red before turning away.
" Ooowww!" i squealed feeling the force of Black*Star punching me in the arm ," what the hell was that for!?" Before Black*star could say anything, Professor Steins voice boomed out across the classroom.
" SOUL! DETENTION! MAKA! DETENTION! TSUBAKI AND BLACK* STAR! DETENTION!" Fuck. Detention.

"Hey um... Maka" i said walking into the detention room. I wasn't really sure why i was talking to her, but there I was anyway.
" Y- Yes Soul?" she asked, looking up from her notebook that she had been doodling in all day, closing it.
" Umm, about the kiss-" i began but was cut off by Stein. "Soul, Maka. Lately you two have been seeming a little more off than usual. it's time to resignate souls, you need to be more aligned with each other again. I saw how you two fought in the last fast you took. You're getting sloppy and out of synch." he said, addressing the fact that we had gotten sloppy. Me and maka resonated souls, trying to match wavelengths to the best of our ability.
'I-I-I didnt know this..." i thought to myself as I was able to feel how she felt for a spit second. "it's sad to know... she... she doesn't like me how i like her... it's so.. weird." She wasn't clouded with thoughts of me like I was her. She wasn't curious about me. She wasn't thinking about me.
"I-I can't go on. not like this. not without her, I can't keep pretending I don't like her. She needs to know."
