The Pain Of Life

I can't seem to find that specific moment where it started

The only thing I know for sure is that this is where it ended

Like an Autumn leaf in Winter, I don't belong

I get flown around, the unknown blinding my path

An anonymous feeling simmering from the roots

Surging through, free of the arms' clutches

Crowning the gold worn finger, I hold back from shredding my tears, never revealing my regret

Sorrow weighs down on my chest, forcing it to deflate

The fog evaporates and pronounces clear vision

I can see, I can see

No, not my eyesight, but yours

I see the pain in your eyes, the guilt

Bright blue becoming duller by the minute

I finally understand, I remember

I can see that specific moment where it started

Now I know for sure that I'm alone

Never from choice, but by force

Alone.

Upset.

Jealous.

Bleeding.

Gone.

Floating.

I was taken from you, from life

That one night

That one party

That one argument

That one narrow path

That one bullet
