It had been three weeks since Matt had moved to his apartement in L.A., but now sitting on the airplane, he was really excited to be visiting back home. Once his plance landed, Matt was instantly greeted by his parents. They hugged hims so hard but he was so happy to see them, he could only help but smile.

"I mean dont get me wrong, L.A. is great and all, but I really miss being here with all of you." Matt said to his friends later that night. They had speant the whole day driving around town, playing basketball, skating, and just hanging out. Matt for the most part was having a really great day. At around 7:00, Matt started getting a headache. At first he just tried to ignore it. He'd been getting headaches ever since he moved, so he blamed it on the stress and tried to ignore it. After taking an ibuprofen, his headache started to subside and he carried on his night with his friends. Later when all his friends returned home and his parents were asleep, Matt flopped on his bed and smiled. He knew that his life was perfect and he wouldn't change any of it for the world.

The next morning, Matt woke up at noon. Nobody was surprised. When he went downstairs, his mom had prepared him a big breakfast to welcome home. "Thanks Mom, I love you." he said as he gave her a big hug. "Might as well make the best of it while your home." she said back. Matt hated it when she did that. It always made him feel bad about moving out, so he ignored her and didn't say anything back. None of his friends were over, so Matt speant most of his day in his room, on his phone mostly. At around 3:00, his headache started again. "UHHH AGAIN?" he groaned. He wen't down stairs and took more medicine before laying down on his couch. As he layed down his mom entered the room. "Whats wrong Matt?" "Nothing I just have a headache is all." after a short pause, his mom then replied with "Well did you take medicine for it?" Matt began tensing up and he grew really irritated. He really wanted to reply with a smartass remark, but he didn't want to upset her, so he just went up to his room to fall alseep in peace.

Matt was awakened abruptly in the night by sharp pain in the side of his head where he'd been recieving all his head aches. He sat up and rested his head on his knees and started rocking back and fourth ever so slightly. He did this for about 2 hours untill the light started pouring into his bedroom window. As soon as he looked up at the light, the pain in his head throbbed more and his eyes started watering with tears. He layed down and tried to find a comfortable position, but nothing worked. Finally he decided to call his mom in and ask her for advice. She brought him up more medicine and a wet towel for his head. After she asked him how long its been happening, she grew a little bit worried, and then when Matt told her that he was only having in one spot on his head, she really worried. "Maybe we should take you to a doctor."

"No No No No'' Matt said. "I DO NOT need to go to a doctor." he layed back down on the bed. "Just give it a few hourse mom and trust me it will go away. Im just really stressed right now okay?" She looked at him and scrunched her eyebrows. "Okay, but tomorrow if its not better, were taking you to a doctor." He didn't reply but instead rolled over and tried to go to sleep untill she finally walked out. "Theres no way im falling alseep." he mumbled to himself. After tossing and turning for several hours, the pain got to Matt, and his happy attitude suddenly faded into frustration. Finally Matt started crying. "Why do bad things always happen to me?" he said through the quiet sobs. "I just wanted to have a fun time with everyone!" He rambled on and on, only making his headache alot worse, making him cry harder. After about 25 minutes of Matts crying and rambling his mom walked in on him. He wasn't about to have his mom watch him have a break down and crying. He immediately stoped, but his face was really red and wet from the tears. Just by the look his mom gave him, Matt knew tomorrow he could plan on a trip to the doctors, but all Matt could think to himself was how embarressed he was that his mom heard him crying.
