Chapter Six

The eyes grew brighter, and got even closer.

Vert threw his pillow at it, and it made a sound similar to Sparkys.

"Y0U ALŁ W!LL DI3..." It Said with a distorted voice.

It then took out a machine gun that was attached to its arm, and started shooting the room.

Everyone ducked behind cover, trying to get to their cars outside.

"We need to get out of here!" Nolo shouted.

"Thanks captain obvious!" Vert shouted.

Vert then noticed the chair next to his bed, that he could throw at the Robot to distract it for atleast a second.

Once he threw it, everyone bolted out of the room, into their cars.

The robot noticed, then smashed through the building, it's voice even more distorted.

They sped off, trying to find a way to destroy it.

"How in the world are we going to destroy THAT?" Nolo shouted.

"No idea, just keep looking for something." Vert said continuing to speed down the foggy forest road.

Further in the forest, Lani noticed a cave, large enough for their cars.

"Vert, see that cave? I think we can lose the robot in it!" Lani shouted.

"Good call, everyone head to the cave!" Vert shouted.

Everyone sped in, but the force of their cars made the cave collapse, blocking their way out.

"Great, now we're trapped." Monkey said.

"At least the robot can't get us in here. I hope." Vert said.

The rain slammed on the cave, causing echos.

Continuing to drive through the cave, Vert noticed something glowing at the end of the cave.

Getting closer, it appeared to be some sort of accelecharger, but not any ordinary accelecharger.

Vert got out of his car, and walked towards it.

"What do you think it is?" Nolo asked.

"I dunno, but it has a weird symbol." Vert said.

Vert grabbed it, and it felt warm in his hand.

It then started vibrating and shaking like crazy, ending up slipping out of Verts hand, and floating to his car.

His car transformed from his usual Power Rage, into another car.

"What just happened?" Lani asked.

"It just transformed my car into Seared Tuner."
Vert said, shocked.

"That's unbelievable." Nolo said shocked as well.

"That's a Accelegrade. It's a car upgrader disguised as a usual Accelecharger." Dr Tesla explained. "They're incredibly rare." Dr Tesla continued.

Verts car was now a bright blue Seared Tuner with white stripes.

"Amazing. So, whoever touches the Accelegrade, that persons car gets upgraded?" Vert asked.

"Yes, the Accelegrade uses the persons DNA, when they touch it, and it goes to their car, and only their car." Dr Tesla explained.

"How rare are they? Besides them being incredibly rare." Kurt asked.

"There's no telling how to find them, they just, appear." Dr Tesla explained.

He continued to explain, until the cave started caving inside itself, following the robot.

"Oh dear god." Marky said.

"Everyone in your cars!" Dr Tesla shouted.

Everyone hopped in, and sped out of there.

Going at least 300MPH, Vert noticed the cave getting smaller.

"Guys, the cave is ending!" Vert shouted.

"There's nothing we can do! We can't stop, and we can't get through!" Lani shouted.

Vert noticed a button in his car, that was bright red.

Pushing it in curiosity, it made his car able to go through objects, even through brick walls.

"Everyone start drafting behind me!" Vert shouted.

Everyone drafted behind him, and their cars got the same ability.

Speeding through the wall, they escaped through and were back outside in the cold rain.

"What JUST happened!?" Kurt shouted in shock.

"I don't know! I can't even explain!" Vert shouted.

The robot close behind them, Marky noticed a big cliff, that was too wide to possibly make the jump.

Not being able to stop, they had no choice.

They had to make the jump in order to get rid of the robot.

"Everyone use your Nitrox!" Vert shouted.

"What!? You're crazy!" Nolo shouted.

"We have no other choice!" Vert replied.

Verts speedometer read from 300mph, to 400mph, then to 500mph.

They drove off a ramp, soaring over the cliff.

Their engines rumbling, they closed their eyes.

Landing on a big thud, they made the jump.

"Did we just do that!? Did we really just do that!?" Lani asked in shocked panic.

"Yeah, we did." Vert replied laughing in relief.

The rain finally let up, and the sun was rising.

They continued to drive towards the city in silence.

About an hour later, they made it to the city, and parked their cars by the beach.

"I thought we should stop here and relax. Also, I brought my board." Vert said with a chuckle.

Marky then pulled his surfboard out and chuckled.

"Even though I hate TEKU, I'll always be a surf-rat." Marky said.

Vert grinned, and everyone walked down the beach.

They set their beach towels down and they all went in the water.

Vert went towards a huge wave, and surged down it as the waves crashed around him.

Being submerged under the water, Vert noticed something bright.

He swam deeper, and noticed it was something huge.

Vert was in shock to find out that it was something bad, it was a Drones Nest...
