Chapter 7

*the next morning*

**Kenzie's POV**

I woke up the next morning hoping all of this was just a dream. Not knowing whether or not it was or was not, I ran downstairs and asked my dad if we were really moving. He said yes. I was really hoping that it was all a dream.

After thinking and thinking about what was going to happen, I decided to text Riley and tell her to meet me at Starbucks to tell her what was on my mind. She responded yes and we met there in 10 mins.

*at Starbucks*

**Riley's POV**

Kenzie texted me and told me to meet her at Starbucks so I came. Usually we meet here when she has to talk about something on her mind.

I was sitting at our usual table when Kenzie came in. She looked really sad or worried. Then I started feeling sad or worried.

She got her drink then came over to me.

"Hey!!" I said

"Hey" she replied

"What's wrong? why did u call me here?"

"Nothing well actually, I- I- I can't do this." she said and ran out the door

I chased after her but she she got in her car and drove away. I tried calling her. But it went strait to voicemail. It was clear that she has very bad news, I mean she tells me like EVERYTHING!

When I got home I texted her and she replied thank god.

*Texting *R-Riley K-Kenzie

R- hey why did u run out of Starbucks?

K- hey and I don't know I just got nervous

R- okay so then what did u need to tell me?

K- okay fine u caught me. so the other night my parents brought me to the Melting Pot and they told me some bad news

R-well, what's the bad news?

K-we r moving.
