Alex woke up quite early, she quickly checked her phone before getting up off the couch, she had two messages, one from her mum and one from her sister.

"Dad and I won't be coming home tonight, staying at work late, will be home tomorrow afternoon" was the text from her mother.

"Hey sis, Staying at Lena's tonight, don't worry. Love you, - K"  was from Kara.

After Alex replied to both of the messages she got up to make a coffee for her and Maggie.

Maggie woke, uneasy, she hade a thumping headache and felt extremely dizzy, but she felt normal. Eventually she opened her eyes fully taking in her surroundings, she was in a bed she had never been in before and she couldn't remember anything that happened last night, so she got a bit worried and concerned. Please tell me I didn't do anything stupid. She thought.
She got it of bed and walked down the stairs, a few memories started coming back, when she saw Alex in the kitchen, all of her worries left.

"Morning sleepy" Alex called from the kitchen as she saw a half a sleep Maggie.

"Alex!" she said excitedly to see as familiar face "What happened last night?"

"How about you ask your hangover" Alex giggled.

"Right! How did I get here? Please tell me everything"

"Well, you blew me off at the dance and I was upset, I went to the bar and found you there drunk, you started saying how much you hated your parents so I thought I wold bring you here to crash the night" Alex said handing Maggie a cup of coffee.

"Oh" Maggie paused "Thanks...for not taking me back home" Alex nodded "and I am so sorry about the dance, I-I really wanted to go, but I couldn't I-" Maggie started getting really worked up and she started sobbing a little. Alex ran over to Maggie and placed her hands on Maggies shoulders.

"Hey, hey, hey" Alex soothed " I know, okay? You told me everything last night, It's fine, It's in the past, I'm just glad you're alright" Alex said pushing some hair behind Maggies ear, But Maggie was still crying.

"Hey, come here" Alex said pulling Maggie into a tight embrace. Alex wrapped her arms around Maggies shoulders, holding her tight and Maggies around Alex's waist. They stayed there for a few seconds before a whole heap of memories came flooding back into Maggies mind, she only remembers bits and pieces but that was enough to know she said something she probably shouldn't have, she remembered telling Alex how she felt about her. Shit.

"Uh- Alex?" Maggie asked pulling out of the embraced,  not quite sure what to say.

"Mhmm"

"Did I uh- say anything to you... about... us?" Maggie questioned nervously.

"You mean about how you were in love with me?" Alex said chuckling.

"Crap" was all Maggie could say, she didn't want this to ruin their friendship.

"It's fine, nothing happened, you were drunk" Alex trying to calm her down, she could tell she was nervous "I'm sorry, but I have you ask-" Maggie looked up at Alex confused at what she was going to say "Did you mean it, I mean, you were drunk, you were making no sense half of the time and I need to know, did you mean it?" Maggie froze, she didn't know what to say, she tried to speak but nothing was coming out.

"I-I" Maggie stumbled, Alex didn't say anything, she stayed silent allowing Maggie to continue "I-uh- I meant it" Maggie said looking down at her feet. A small smile appeared on Alex's face, but Maggie couldn't see it, Alex again didn't say anything, instead Alex gently placed her hand under Maggies chin lifting it up so she was looking her in the eye.
