Claire was a happy toddler. She had loving parents, a nice house and friends that loved her dearly. But everything changed when she was 4 years old. Her father died from a house fire. Claire was devistated. She wasn't ready to lose her father.
Claire was staying at her grandparents with her mother until her mother found a new house to live in. During that time, Claire spent most of her time crying over the loss of her father. Ckaire's mother finally found a new house they could live in. A week later they moved into their new home. Luckily their house was near a school so Claire could make some new friends. As Claire was exploring the house, she went into the backyard and she realized her backyard was a giant forest. Before she could be the curious 5 year old she is and explore the woods, her mother stopped her and said, 'don't go in the woods, don't you know that bad things happened to people who go into woods'
Her mothers words sent chills down her tiny spine. She was never able to forget those words her mother spoke.
