There is a God a mighty God
who sits upon a throne.
And one day he shall judge the world,
calling all earth's true saints home!
There is a Christ a loving Christ,
whom God sent down the men.
Twas hung upon that bitter tree
to save us from our sin!
There is a Spirit, a Father, and Son, whom the Godhead make.
While little of The Ghost we know,
the world they did create!
Believe and trust their holy word.
Obey and then you'll see:
How wonderfully, awesomely grand
the place called heav'n will be!

A/N:
This was my very first faith based poem. I wrote it just before becoming a Christian at about 12-13yrs old. In the nights leading up to my decision to be baptized, every night, I'd hear these lines going through my head. Finally, knowing they'd be there again, I placed a notepad and pencil next to my bed so that I could write it all down when it came to me.
