i used to not be able to sleep at night, the sound of you and your partner laughing, dancing, and your bed creaking had always kept me up.
you knew that the walls separating my apartment from yours were thin- and so when i ranted to you about my lack of sleep because i could hear everything that you and your partner were doing- you didn't lash out at me. you didn't tell me that it wasn't your problem, like any other person would've. you were a happy person and i could see that.
but the laughing has now stopped, and so has the dancing. i haven't seen you leave your apartment in weeks. i never thought i would be here- knocking at your door at 2 am because i cared so much about you. please open up.
