Prompt #5/#79: “I’m going to take care of you, okay?”/“You’re safe now I got you.

It all happened so fast you didn’t realize what was going on at first, one minute you are rushing towards the basement of a closed down restaurant following the sound of Dean egging on the demon. Then next thing you know is you are waking up with a major headache chained to a chair in some dingy building somewhere. When you woke up unable to move your arms and legs you understood what happened, you missed judged the number of demons you were dealing with and one got to you before you could defend yourself. It was only safe for you to assume that they warded the walls causing you to hope the boys figured out what was wrong sooner than later but, for now I just had to handle whatever the demons did to me.

The boys were taking longer than you anticipated and you didn’t know how much longer you were going to be able to hold on. The demons were relentless dragging blades along parts of your body and hitting you in others with things. It was like they got off on your screams and eventually you were biting your lip until it broke under the pressure to hold your sounds of pain within. After a while that only pissed them off more so they took the torture up a notch pushing you to the point of near unconsciousness, your head hanging limply from your shoulders as you begin to think the brothers aren’t coming for you. No matter how hard you prayed Cas never heard you either and you were left with the inevitable thought that this was how you were going to die.

As a last ditch effort you begin to pray again as your eyes start falling shut and the demon slaps you again, hard. You don’t fight or scream like they want you to because seconds later there is a crash on other side of the room drawing the attention of every demon. You don’t bother looking to see what is going on, and you didn’t have the strength to anyways. Instead you were just thankful that it got the demons away from you. A few crashes later it was radio silent and you were jostled awake by someone untying you.

Barely opening your eyes you look up into a pair of blue ones, “Cas-,” you begin to whisper hoarsely before he shushes you.

“Shh. You’re safe now y/n. I’m going to take care of you.

He then presses two fingers to your head letting his power was over your body to heal each wound the demons inflicted on you. You felt relief wash over your body as each part of you return to before but, your eyelids still grew heavy and began to close. By the time Cas was done healing you you were completely knocked out in the chair causing Cas to bend and lift you in his arms before be vanishes off to the motel room the boys had. He set you on the bed and made sure everything was alright before he picked up his phone to inform the brothers you were safe.

The moment they realized what happened the brothers started searching for you. But the warding was too strong on the building you were kept in was too strong meaning Cas couldn’t sense you until they went to Crowley for help. It drove him crazy that it took that long for you to be found. All he could think about was making sure you were okay like he should have been there to do in the first place. Cas wasn’t even on that hunt with you three but he still found himself feeling guilty for letting the one he loved get hurt.
