The Endless Cycle

One cut.
That's all it takes
To start an endless cycle,
One that's hard to break.
"Just stop" they say,
It will go away.
Maybe the blood, yes.
But the scars are here to stay.
Because it wasn't just one cut,
Was it?
No.
An endless cycle,
Never ends.
That cut that was one,
Is now just a means to an end.
