It was a dark and cold place. I couldn't hear anything.
"Hello?" I meowed "is anyone here?"
Then I heard a faint voice saying my name. "Swiftpaw! Swiftpaw! Wake up! We have training today with firestar." I opened my eye's to see hollypaw standing over me. "Oh sorry I had this weird dream. And what are we doing again?"
"We are going training with firestar and," she took in a deep breath and lowered her voice, "and we get to eat with him."
If you got to eat with firestar then you we're going to have to go on a patrol or it was going to be a ceremony for you. So I hoped I was going to be a warrior. I have been training for a while. Hollypaw motioned her tail to follow her."we are going with cloudpaw,lionpaw,and jaypaw too." She looked over at cloudlaw and in her eyes shown love towards him. Was she in love with cloudpaw? I thought but I love her! "Hey do u like cloudpaw?"
"As a friend yes." She started to fiddle with things. She did like him and I wanted her to like me. After all, we have known each other since we were kits.
* * * * *
After we went on a patrol we went to the high rock and were about to become warriors. And jaypaw was a medicine cat. "May all cats old enough to catch their own pray please come to the clearing for a ceremony!” the clearing became filled with cats. "We gather here on this night to bless these cats warriors and a medicine cat. Please step up here you five young cats." We all walked over and hoped onto the high rock. "Lionpaw, cloudpaw, jaypaw, hollypaw, and Swiftpaw are ready to become warriors." He looked at us then started to name us off. "Lionpaw will now be know as Lionheart. After our old long lost cat. Hollypaw will now be know as Hollyleaf. Cloudpaw will now be known as cloudtail. Jaypaw will now be our new medicine cat. His name will be jayfeather. And last but not least, Swiftpaw will now be know as swifttail!" Every cat in the clearing started to go crazy and shout all of our new warrior names.
I was no longer Swiftpaw.....I'm swifttail!
