chapter three

"We can't go into attack! Firstar, we can't go after shadowclan!"

"We will! Now I must go and tell the rest of he clan. You go and check up on Lionheart."

"But--" I was cut off when he added, "no! I am clan leader! U obey my rules and demands! Now go! Get out of sight." He paced slowly past me. What will the clan think about the news? He thought. Will they think something is up with firstar? Will they obey him? Or fight against him? There was thoughts circling his mind. When then he had one good idea. He ran up to the medicine cats den and peeked inside. He saw Lionheart in a nest with no other cat. How will he get help if all the other cats are out?! He thought, I might be able to help.

"Hi,do u need help with your wounds?" He looked up at swiftpaw. Then didn't answer for a few more heartbeats. "Why did u tell them it was tigerstar! Now we have to go into a battle! Thanks to u!" Swiftpaw looked at the ground and ruffled his paw on the ground. "I---i have a plan." Lionheart looked  at swiftpaw with a consigning gaze. He motioned his tail for swiftpaw to go on and tell his plan. "Maybe we could say it was a rough or......just not a cat from a clan."

"Well--------maybe that could work. Go get firestar. And try to find a medicine cat too." Swiftpaw spun around and ran out the cave gorge. He stopped in the middle of the clearing and looked for the two cats. He spotted firstar. He ran overt to him. "Firestar....." He spun around. "Its u. What is it." Swiftpaw was scared to tell such a lie. "Lionheart needs a medicine cat and also we need to talk to u alone." Firestar motioned him to go to the den. He grabbed jayfeather and headed towards him. Was I going to get Vought lying? 

When they were in the den jayfeather helped Lionheart as they told him what had happened. "And why did you lie to me the first time? U could have told the truth."

"We didn't know if u would believe us or not." He looked up at firstar who had fear in his eyes. He ran out and got on the high rock and announced something terrible for the clan. "There are roughs in the woods. No one will leave without my permission. No more training as long as the roughs are in our territory!" All the cats gasped as they heard the news. Then  scattered to the dens and told cats about what they would do. "What have we done Lionheart!?"

"We did something fare for the clans and for..........tigerstar."
