Ivy Willow, an odd name for an odd girl as her father used to say, she moves from unpredictable Australia to freezing cold England in hopes of having a better chance at her dream job, zoology. When she meets a boy who turns out to be her new neighbour they spend a majority of their time together without realising it and both start to develop feelings as their friendship grows. To them they're just close friends but to everyone else around them, they're practically in love.
