The emerging rays of the Sun couldn't make me expectant for my rescue.

Meanwhile, the banging hoots of the seagulls gave me a gut feeling that my ears would burst any second counting from now. I unveiled my eyelids just to see the good old unhelpful sky: staring right at me.

Within a fraction of seconds, my raft experienced a mild jerk. With bated breath, I waited, till I turned to see the source of it.

The tentacles of fear bordered me.

I have got one simple thing to lose: NOTHING.

Being afloat on the oceans of the unknown, I had no hurry to investigate about it. I sat up straight, sluggishly and stretched my arms, writhing in slight back pain. Yawning, I tried to look for the source of the jerk.

With exploding eyes, a scenery of complete devastation greeted me with utmost dedication: tons of sea creature carcasses lying aimlessly. The thing that had been the doer of making me a part of this huge funeral had been just a tortoise kid.

With true love and care, I lifted it with my feeble, trembling hands. The delicate thing wetted me. Without giving a second thought, I at once took it to my chest and held it there so tight that the simultaneous tugs of several wrestlers could not separate it from me. Tears gushed down my cheeks, which dazzled in the sunlight: the inhuman sky saw.

I muttered and moaned-all of which had been futile.

After a while when I recollected myself, I scrutinized every bit of it, and what I found from the inside of its mouth hit me a like a falling anvil.

A transparent bag.

Precisely, A PLASTIC BAG. A plastic bag being the murderer of my tortoise!

NO! NOT ONLY A PLASTIC BAG; there is a sea full of them!

I wiped my tears and perspiration off my face and took a careful look of the entire surrounding: tortoises, jelly fish, sea fish, sea gulls, sea cucumber were just a few of the known ones to be named

Bad luck had just dogged the marvels of the sea.

Red and yellow, green and blue straws being wedged on to the mouths of the sea gulls. Ripped apart plastic cups and one time usable dishes had just become the new anatomical members of the jelly fishes and sea cucumbers.

What about others? They were robbed of their amazing sea lives by the very same culprit: PLASTIC.

Or to be more specific: US.
BY YOU, ME, EACH AND EVERY PERSON LIVING ON THE MOTHER EARTH.

IF WE ALL ARE THE CULPRITS, MURDERERS, ROBBERS then WHO IS THE SAVIOUR?
