Background 》 Jia En lived in Singapore until she was 13. Growing up, she spoke English and Mandarin. When she was 11, she decided to learn Korean out of curiosity.
From 7 to 12, Jia En studied in an all-girls school and thus mainly has friends who are girls. There, she met a few friends who were into kpop and she soon took interest in rapping and dancing. She was too shy to tell her parents or her interests, so she secretly practiced when she was home alone.
