Silent Thoughts

Moonlight

You are the moon in my dark sky,
So beautiful and perfectly flawed
So out of my reach,
I can only look at you
Adore you, like you, love you,
But I can never touch you,
feel you or have you!
You aren't there always
Just like the moon.
But when you come
Your light brightens my dark thoughts
And calms the chaos in my heart
I feel happy again!
And when you leave
Darkness clouds my heart again!
