Millies pov:

I had woke up in my bed by the sunlight glowing into my eyes through the shades of my window.

Yesterday i went home early since i wasn't really in the mood to be around people espically finn.

I didn't go to school today either.

Just lied saying i had period cramps.

I got up from my bed and got some clothes and entered my bathroom.

I took a shower while trying to clear my mind from everything. And thinking about how busy ill be these next few days.

Maddie wanted to have a little christmas party before the new years. So i wanted to give some gifts to my friends when i go over.

Plus i was gonna take a vacation with my family in hawaii so after that party i was gonna see anyone for a long time.

Also 2019, a new year...i couldn't believe it, everything came so fast. Too fast.

I feel like it was just yesterday finn was a new student, i was dating jacob and jack was back at school, not ssc.

Now im single, mixed feels for two boys. One im afraid to mess things up with and two i have never seen.

I got out my shower and changed into some adidas joggers and a tank top.

I went downstairs and got some eggos out my fridge and put 2 of them in my toaster.

After they were done, i ate them plain since i really wasn't hungry.

I sat on my sofa and put on my Netflix.

I decided to watch "that 70s show"

It is completely funny.

I watched it and felt my eyes start to become heavy.

They started close and then i slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Hey mills its me" i heard a girl say followed by a knock on the door.

I woke up and got up to open the door revealing my best friends.

"Sadie, lilia, Maddie?" I asked.

They set their eyes on me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked again.

"Well, we have lunch and wanted to come by since you weren't at school" sadie said while walking in and put a chickfila bag on the kitchen counter.

"Yeah you didn't even text us if you were sick." Maddie said.

"Sorry...ive been not feeling good" i said while closing the door.

"So you are sick?" Lilia asked.

"Not necessarily" i said.

"You're feeling off?" Maddie asked while sipping her soda.

"Yeah...since yesterday" i said.

"Why? Was it because i kissed noah?" Sadie asked.

"Oh no no no no" i said.

"Its something else...but it does have to do with that game" i said again.

"Was it finn?" Lilia asked.

I felt butterflys in my stomach and goosebumps on my arms.

Suddenly her saying his name just made me wanna hug him.

"........i think so" i said.

"What do you like him?" Maddie asked.

"....its hard to explain....its like...i do like him but not much but i do wanna date him but i dont wanna mess up what we have and what we have...is that enough?" I said feeling mixed emotions.

They were all twisting up in my gut about to explode.

"You're scared to take a risk on him?" Lilia said.

"I suppose" i said back.

"Millie....not every boy is jacob, finn would treat you way better, i mean look at how he treats you as a friend" sadie said.

"I know he would treat you like a queen probably" maddie said.

I felt my cheek burn up a little.

"See you're blushing, you know its true" lilia said.

I smiled.

"Man Finn still has his ph-" maddie was about to say but was interrupted by sadie yelling.

"OH MY GOD I FORGOT TO TELL YALL" sadie yelled.

"What?" Lilia asked.

"Finns birthday is in two days!!!" Sadie yelled.

"Wait what?!" Maddie yelled.

"No way" i said too.

"Yeah" sadie said.

"Caleb was talking to me and he brought up finn and said his birthday is on the 23rd" the redhead explained excitingly.

"Wow, we should do something guys, hes our friend and he deserves a surprise" lilia said.

"Okay a surprise party" maddie said.

"Im gonna have to get double gifts now" i said.

"What do you mean double gifts?" Maddie asked.

"Well your party on Saturday...its christmas duh i want to get yall gifts" i said.

"Plus after your party me and noah are packing for our trip to hawaii and we'll be gone for 2 weeks" i said.

"Im gonna miss you" lilia said while frowning.

"Me too...but it'll be quick" i said.

"Hey get finn a new cast for his birthday since the other one got wet by the pool on sunday" sadie joked.

"Oh shut up" i said while laughing.

They laughed too and ate their food with me.

They stayed a little longer and eventully left back to school.

As i stayed home watching tv.

I heard a knock on the door, thinking it was noah since its the time to get out of school already.

I got up and opened the door.

Revealing finn and my brother.

"Hey mills" noah said while walking in.

"Hey noah, hey finn why you here?" I asked.

"Oh me and noah are studying for our math test" he said.

"Oh" i said.

He began to walk with noah upstairs.

"Hey wait finn" i said.

He stopped and walked back down.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Uh i wanna say sorry about yesterday" i said.

"Its fine...you were just upset" he said.

"Yeah...i wasn't feeling so good and it wasnt your fault or you by the way" i said.

"Yeah yeah i understand" he said back.

"Okay good" i said back.

He smiled and began to walk upstairs.

"Also finn" i said again

He turned and looked at me.

"Lets skip school tomorrow, i need your help with something" i said.

"Yeah sure ill help" he said.

"Yeah okay thanks" i said back.

He smiled and walked upstairs.

I smiled and started thinking of what to get finn for his birthday and christmas.
