Chapter 6

Present time

I've been having frequent nightmares about the fire; sometimes I'd wake up sweating and there’s no one to comfort me. And there’re were times, when it was worse, I would silently scream myself awake and then sometimes I'd wake up with a wet pillow, knowing I'd been crying, I twist and turned in my bed trying to get to sleep but it didn’t work I was wide awake. I staggered off my bed to the bathroom to wash away all the sweat from when I had the nightmare, I turned on the hot water let the bathroom steam up, I stood letting the boiling hot water wash away all the bad memories. I washed my long hair, I dried myself and let my hair dry naturally, I chose and outfit from my closet a grey tank top and a grey cardigan and flower pattern skirt and flats. I looked at my reflection in the mirror I had big bags under my eyes, I covered it with foundation. My tummy grumbled I pulled my hair into a pony tail, I walked down stairs to find Jasper and Emmet playing Black Ops on the Xbox I went to get some breakfast and ate it then whilst I was going to sneak up the stairs I was being summoned.

“Cassie stay down here for once, it’s not healthy to spend all your time curled up stairs in your bedroom” Emmet said to me whilst playing Black Ops I groaned but it was silent, I sat next to Jasper and looked around the room in boredom, I heard Jasper sigh next to me and then I felt a controller being thrown at me. I pretend to be dumb at the start but in 1 minute I owned Emmet I killed his player over 30 times and I killed most of the other teams and no deaths, on the zombie game I killed them all, Emmet was shocked whilst Jasper was looking at my technique. Afterwards we played Fifa 12 and I won 8-0, then I picked the next game, it surprised me that Emmet had Naruto Shippuden Ninja storm 2 I played as Minato and he was Naruto and I owned his ass so many times and then he had enough of my owning him so he decided to go and sit in the corner of the room and sulk for once he was silent it was like a miracle that came from heaven. Edward and Renesmee came in clueless of why Emmet was in the corner of the room, “What happed to Emmet” Edward said clueless, “Cassie owned him on every game she’s like the gaming Ninja, Emmett gave up and went to sulk in the corner” Jasper said and I grinned a bit.

About an hour later Seth turned up and we both went up to my room, later I heard someone at the door and I hurried down to answer it because Jasper and Emmet were apparently too busy playing the game and they are too lazy to get up and answer it. It turned out that it was Alex who was at the door I opened the door and grabbed him to pull him upstairs without the ‘lazy brothers’ looking. When we came up to my bedroom I noticed Ness had invited herself in. I let go of Alex and walked over to them, Nessie and Seth sat looking confused.

“Hello and who is this cute boy Cassie?” Nessie said in a flirty tone I gave her half of a death stare.

“I’m Alex, Cassie’s boyfriend from New York” Alex said and smiled, I noticed Seth look a bit sad.

“20 questions” Nessie said to Alex.

“How long have you known Cassie for” Nessie said she was staring at Alex.

“About 5 years” Alex said

“How old are you” Seth said.

“17” Alex said plainly.

“How many people have you dated” Nessie said annoying me.

“Let’s end the interrogation questions I don’t give up that easily” Alex said and smirked sexily.

“No fun, what about how well you know Cassie” Nessie said pouting first.

“Very Well" Alex said in a bored tone...

"What her favourite sport” Nessie asked him.

"Horse Riding" Alex replied.

During their 20 questions to be honest I feel a bit left out so I decided to slip out of the room and go down stairs. About half an hour later Nessie and Seth returned with Alex. Alice came in the room with a beaming smile and Nessie following behind and then finally Bella being dragged along too.
