"Wait for it, wait for it..." Will pointed expectantly at the door, nudging Kayla.

The door opened and Will genuinely cheered as a familiar face walked in.

    "Stalker." Kayla laughed.

"Am not. When the same dude comes at the same time every day, I have to notice. Hey Di Angelo!" Will flashed a smile as the black-haired Italian walked up to the counter.

"Ever heard of Super Size Me?" Kayla questioned, which earned a light smack from Will.

"The results of that experiment can't be replicated, meaning it was bull. It was an over dramatization of how people actually eat. Also, this is the only time a day I get to eat trash, lay off." Nico stated, quite matter-of-factly.

    "...Okay then." Kayla muttered.

"Yeah, don't even try him. Same as always, valued customer?" Will asked.

"Of course. I'm not breaking my happy meal streak any time soon."

"I figured as much. While that's getting done, you know we installed the computers last week, right? You don't have to interact with people anymore." Will explained. Kayla walked off to, you know, do her job.

"What, and miss an opportunity to talk to an actual ray of sunshine daily? No thanks."

"Oh, you flatter me, death boy."

"I was talking about Sharon." Nico gestured to a teenage employee in all black, who was currently yelling at a customer about god knows what.

    "Wow, okay, I'm hurt."

"Good. You know she's part of the reason no one comes here, right?"

"I think another reason is that the kfc across the street is, subjectively, 1000% better. So that begs the question, why are you here?"

"I already told you, Solace. I have to get my daily dose of human sunshine. And kfc is terrible."

"I'm gonna act like I didn't hear that second part. Here's your food, and..." Will scribbled something out on the back of Nico's receipt, then put in in his bag, "Have a good day."

Obviously, the moment Nico got in his car, he looked on the back of the receipt. "Your hair looks very nice and floofy!! :)" Another cute message that Will couldn't bring himself to say out loud.

Nico was absolutely not falling in love with the McDonald's cashier.
