I'm so sorry I haven't really been consistent with my updating schedule!

I got really busy and couldn't write anything...

But now I'm all caught up and I can update so...

Here ya go!

Mitch's POV

"He will be one once we're done with him." Dawn says, an evil smirk on her face as she approaches me.

"I will personally slit your throat if you do anything to him." I snarl, holding my axe at a ready position.

"Relax Mitchell. I won't hurt him.. too bad that is."

I curse.

"Is that a way to talk around royalty?"

"Your not anything but a peasant to me." I spit.

"Your attitude needs some adjusting. Nothing a little massage won't fix right?"

Her words make me hesitate, shortening the space between us.

"You like the sound of that, I can tell."

"No, not really."

"Then why'd you hesitate?"

"Because I haven't recovered from the last time you were in my head."

She chuckles. "Oh Mitchell. You'll never recover. Mainly because you'll be so far under, if you get pulled back out you won't know what's real and what isn't."

I ball my hands into fists. "Your forgetting something very important."

She tilts her head to the side.

"My friends won't let me forget about them, nor will they stop fighting for me. So go ahead and control me, my friends will get me back."

She sends me a fake smile. "Keep telling yourself that."

We circle the room, our eyes never leaving each other's.

"If only you hadn't set Jerome free. You'd be mine right about now."

"I don't want to join you and your pathetic excuse of a kingdom where no one has the right to do what they want."

She scoffs. "We do that so there is peace, unlike in your kingdom."

I glare at her.

Suddenly, my foot catches on something and I trip.

'Sh*t.' I think, landing on the ground.

Dawn sprints over to me and before I can start to run away, she grabs my shoulder.

I yelp in surprise, but I don't push her hand away.

"Shhh. It's okay. Just relax." she coos.

Her touch sends a chill down my spine, making my knees week and a ringing fill my ears.

She leans close and whispers into my ear.

"Let's go to our castle."

"Yes my queen." I say, my voice almost robotic.

She smirks and let's her hand fall to her side, leading the way out the door.

I follow closely behind her, gripping my axe and ready to defend Dawn.

We make it to the shoreline after ten minutes of walking.

She throws a potion of water breathing at my feet then plunges into the water.

I follow closely behind, like a loyal dog to it's owner.

We go through the doors and into the throne room.

I bow at the kings feet.

"My king. I am your loyal servant. I will do as you command."

"Arise Mitchell."

I do as he commands.

He smiles towards Dawn.

"You chose good. He'll make an excellent servant. I'm proud of you Dawn."

"Thank you my king." She bows.

"Mitchell, bring me the new prisoners. I want to talk to them."

"Yes my king." I bow and walk out of the throne room
