My Partner, the Rain:
We, the rain and I are old-time friends.
He has my back and I have his.
He will notice my withering crops and come down, quenching their thirst.
He will block out the penetrating sun and recess the heat.
He will soak into the dirt so the plants can save the refreshment for another day.
He will fill the rivers used for bathing and drinking water.
I will harvest the agriculture, sell them, buy sacrificial meat, and offer them to him and the super power of the world.
I will perform the rain dance and entertain him during monotonous times.
I will bless the heavens for assisting my source of money.
I will preserve the rain water until the next shower.
We are harmonious; the rain and I.
We fit hand-in-hand for all eternity.
