Messed Up

Tis' the season

It's the week of Christmas so I'm flying to LA to spend time with Elton. I haven't seen him in about 2 months so it feels good to reunite with him.
J: "Do you really have to go?"
Y/n: "I'll be back soon babe. I'll call you every day okay?"
J: "okay"
I kissed him on the cheek and got in his sisters car.
Jillian: "Jake really loves you. You know?"
Y/n: "I know, and I love him too. You're family is so kind and funny. I love you all so much"
We got to the airport and gave our final goodbyes.

*after the flight*
On the phone with Elton:
Y/n: hey, my flight is about to land
E: okay I'll start heading out
Y/n: bye! Love you!
E: love you too y/n
*end of call*
Elton came and picked me up. As soon as I saw him I hugged him. He grabbed my bags and put them in the vehicle. I hopped in and we started talking.
E: "So, how have you been?"
Y/n: "Great! Jake has been keeping me happy and I love him a lot. What about you and Meghan?"
E: "We're doing great."
We talk the whole way there until we get to his house. I'm proud of him.
Meghan: "Hi y/n! It's been so long!"
Y/n: "Hi! I've missed you so much!"
I hug Meghan and talk to her while Elton brings my stuff in.
E: "hey y/n. Come check out your room"
I walk into this pretty room. It has beautiful plants and pictures all over.

*later that night*
I was getting ready for bed so I FaceTimed Jake.
J: "hey princess!! I miss you."
Y/n: "I miss you too baby. Whatcha doing?"
J: "just watching movies. There's nothing to do when you're not around"
Y/n: "why don't you go over to Reggie's house? You can hang out with him."
J: "He's probably hanging out with Cassie."
Y/n: "bring Jillian. She could hang out with her."
J: "I don't wanna get up though"
Y/n: "Jake, I'm sure you can find something to do without me."
J: "but I can't!"
Y/n: "I'm gonna go to bed. Goodnight Jakey, I love you"
J: "Love you too bubs"
You end the call and go to your room. All you can do is think about Jake and how sad he looked. It made you sad, so you started to cry.
E: "hey y/n, dinners re-. What's wrong?"
Y/n: "I miss Jake."
E: "it's okay y/n. You'll be alright."
Y/n: "but what if he's not? I called him and he looked really sad"
At this point you were crying like crazy. Elton pulled you in for a hug and comforted you.
E: "it'll be okay y/n. How about we go eat some dinner okay?"
Y/n: "okay."
