Chapter Eleven

Monday night was how you say... Awkward. My dad kept asking Noah questions about him like 'what do you plan on doing with my daughter' and 'why are you interested in my daughter'. You should have seen how scared he was

He looked like he was gonna shit himself. The way my dad talked to him was in a way scary, I could totally understand the way Noah shifted in his seat uncomfortable

After dessert he showed himself out and my dad asked if he wanted to stay the night, Noah being him didn't refuse the offer. When we got to my room he asked if I wanted to finish what we started and I shook my head telling him I was to tired. He frown but nodded getting into bed with me, wrapping his arm around my waist

They actually seem like a real couple

Well we aren't and never will be. I could imagine being together let alone having a real relationship with that guy. I mean there are many good things about him but there are some things that bother me about him.

All I'm saying is that I don't think that we could ever be a thing. It's just not happening in my head. I mean sure sometimes I crave his touch and his kiss but that does mean anything, right?

"Nicky" someone says waving their hand in front of my face. I look over at Emma who is the one doing it and smile "I thought we lost you for a second there" she sighs wiping the back of her hand across her forehead

"You good" Jade asks and I nod still thinking over things in my head "She seems distant" Jade whispers to Emma and Emma nods in agreement

"Tell us whats on your mind hun" Emma says rubbing my back, I sigh and let out a laugh "It's Noah isn't it" she asks and I nod

"What did he do now" Jade sighs shaking her head

"Nothing he's just well him" I say shaking my head "I can't understand him, like today he hasn't texted me and he didn't come to school but yesterday was like argh" I explode falling face first onto my pillow Jade opens her mouth but Emma beats her to it

"You don't have to love" she butts in "Noah's a very confusing person and if you want to understand him, don't try" she tells me and I give her a look that said 'I have no idea what your talking about'

They both laugh and shake their heads

"She means that you don't have to understand him, just get to know him and then you will understand him without having to stress out your mind" Jade simplified it and I nod getting what she meant

The both of them ended up staying over my house for the night even though it was a school night. I have a cool dad. I drift off into sleep just as the girls went to bed

Beep beep

I roll over trying to ignore it

Beep beep

Nope not answering it

Beep beep

Oh my God can't you leave me alone

I pick up my phone to see a no caller ID come up. Since it's 3 in the morning I was scared. Like shitting myself scared

"Princess" Noah's raspy voice came through the phone. Okay now that was hot

"Noah" I whisper claiming trying to keep me cool from not exploding at him and trying to keep my voice down so I don't wake up the girls

"I cant get to sleep" he said and I sighed with a small chuckle

"Can't you call Ben or someone else that isn't trying to sleep" I hiss at him
