"nicky we have to go" Noah pushes on as i continues throwing things in my bag
"hang on" i groan before picking up my bag and throwing it over my back "alright I'm ready"
He looks at the time and groans, walking towards the door "we're late because of you"
I grunt as we walk down the stairs and past the kitchen table where I see my dad. He gets up from the table and walks towards me engolfing me in a big tight hug
"d.a.d" I try to say and he let's me go
"have fun kiddo" he says kissing my forehead before we head out the door
Throwing my duffle bag full of clothes in the back, I climb into the front driver's seat and start the car just Noah climbs in, bunkling up
We drive to the school to see no busses no people and no teachers. I groan and bang my head on the steering wheel
"we missed the bus because you took to long" Noah says patting me onem the back causing me to glare at him. He slowly takes his hand off my back and places it in his lap
"that means ill have to drive us to the camp site" I groan again, exiting out of the school parking lot
... Three hours later ...
"arnt you supposed to be the 'king of the outdoors'?" I ask Noah quoting him from what he told me on the drive here. I cross my arms and an amused smile makes its way to my face. Everyone else's tent has been set up except ours
Yes you guessed it. Turns out Noah and I did have to share a tent because apparently there wasn't enough girls to pair me with or ones that I would agree to anyway
The gang have left me alone for the last three weeks and in that time Noah and I havent exactly been talking much. We sorter haven't been talking since the whole thing with Alex that night. I don't know, you could say it's been pretty awkward
"hey" I hear a voice whisper in my ear and turn around to see Alex standing in front of me with a sunflower in his hands.
He looks down anxiously at the ground and stretches his arm out. I take the it with a smile as he looks up like a puppy that has done something wrong. My lips tug upwards even more when a shy smile makes it way to his face
"thank you Alex" I say and he nods before walking away
I hold the sunflower with both my hands looking down at it peacefully. I turn back around and my gaze is met with Noah's hard one
"what the hell was that" he growls and I shrug, placing the flower down near my bags. I walk upto Noah and playfully hip bump him aside, grabbing the poles that were in his hands. He wondered off donwhere with Ben and left me to get to it which I was grateful for
In less than 20 minutes I had the tent up and the blow up mattress set up inside along with all our bags. Noah came back Ben laughing along his side just as I finished
His face went from laughing off his ass to amazment in only seconds as he stared at the tent
"how did you-" I cut him off
"it's called being the 'queen of the outdoors'." I say quoting him and he grunts, coming towards me. I get a little scarred when he gets closer and that results in a scarred Nicole
I turn to run but his arms slip around my waist and pull me towards his chest. I turn around so we are facing each other and he smirks leaning in
"eww don't you guys even dare" Ben says in a girly manner and we both pull away from each other, laughing slightly
