The Princess and the Pirate (Kolvina) (resumed)

Chapter 33

Here's a new chapter especially for New Year's eve. Thought it would be nice to celebrate the last day of 2018 before it comes 2019 with a new chapter for this story, I hope you like it

-1864-On the Northern sea-

The sky was pitch black as night came, the only source of light to be seen was from the moon. The bright moon shone down on the sea directly in front of the black serpent ship and as the black serpent ship sailed forward, it seemed the moon moved with the ship, it was as if the moon was guiding the ship through the dark and cold eerie night.

Captain Kol was in his sleeping chambers, lying on his bed looking up at the ceiling, his thoughts on Davina. It had been a good few days now since Tristan had attacked his ship and had most of his crew slaughtered and kidnapped Davina and it had been exactly two days since the terrible storm occurred not that it caused Kol any problems, his ship was completely untouched by the storm and nobody was injured. The same couldn't be said for Captain Tristan's ship which was now stranded in the middle of the sea as it hit a bunch of big rocks during the storm and was completely stuck. Tristan was in a panic to get moving knowing Kol was near by and he honestly didn't want to encounter him, not that he was afraid of him he wasn't but he wouldn't allow Kol to be happy and he knew the Princess was what made Kol truly happy so he was rushing along the deck ordering his crew to fix the ship and get it off the rocks which was extremely hard since it was dangerous for them to get off the ship and onto the rocks that the ship was stuck on as the rocks were very sharp and slippery and it was simply impossible to get the ship off but Tristan refused to give up. Davina was in the cellar tied up to a post, her head hanging low as her eyes drooped from how tired she was, she licked her lips which were cracked from being dehydrated and her stomach grumbled from the lack of food she'd been getting, Tristan would only give her a small piece of bread a day and it wasn't enough for her as she was still left hungry and she hadn't been given anything to drink, Tristan cruelly poured rum all over her and laughed at her as she sputtered and despite the temptation and how thirsty she was, she refrained from licking her lips or her hands which were covered in rum as Tristan had literally poured a whole bottle over her as Davina knew the drink wasn't good for her unborn child. Davina feared for her unborn child, she feared she would lose her baby due to the lack of food and water she'd had and she didn't want that to happen so every time one of Tristan's crew mates went down to give her the small piece of bread, she'd give them puppy eyes as she begged for more food and water but only one pirate gave in to her charm and gave her a cup of water which was gone the second the pirate handed it to her, the other pirates just laughed and spat at her leaving her disheartened.

Captain Tristan still wasn't aware of the fact the Princess was pregnant, she wasn't exactly showing too much but she was sporting a small baby bump indicating she had to have been a little over three months pregnant almost and luckily the baby bump was covered by her dress which had become baggy around her since she had seemed to lose weight as her baby bump formed and started to grow. Davina feared about Tristan finding out that she's pregnant knowing he would not hesitate to kill her just to mock and spite Kol and she vowed to keep her pregnancy a secret to herself for as long as she possibly could and she really did hope she wouldn't be on the ship much longer, she hoped she wouldn't end up having to give birth to her child in the presence of a man who despised her child's father but she knew if he or any of his pirates did find out and try to harm her, she would fight in order to protect her unborn child. 

Back on the Black serpent ship, Kol was just starting to doze off when Enzo and Damon burst into the room "Captain!" they yelled startling him "what?!" he retorted as he sat up rubbing his eyes "we've find them. Tristan's ship" Enzo informs him Kol's eyes widened and he instantly got off his bed, grabbing his sword and his pistol as he left his sleeping chambers "where?" he asked looking around in search of the ship that contained his Princess and baby mama "up there on the rocks. His ship is stuck on the rocks he can't get away" Damon replied pointing over to where you could just about see the outline of a ship that was piled onto sharp rocks and suddenly the moon seemed to move and shine down on the ship wreck and Kol smirked "from the looks of it he's been stuck here for days" he said as looked at the ship "he probably ended up there due to the storm" Enzo commented "well if that's not karma then I don't know what is" Kol replied before turning to his last remaining crew members "get the ship closer but not too close, we don't want to get ourselves stuck on the rocks" he ordered Enzo and Damon nodded and went to the stirring wheel and slowly turned the ship.
