the day was finally here. the united states of america's team or the ducks team made it to the championship game. some players on the team doubted that they would ever make it to the championship especially fiona.
now that they finally made it in the hockey world , fiona could not be happier in life.
the hallway where the ducks were staying filled with excitement and nervousness. even though they already won against iceland , they didn't want to have their hopes up high going into the game.
fiona wake up first out of the couple but decided not to wake adam up yet. she just wanted a few minutes more to appreciate the boyfriend that has stayed by her side throughout the hard times in her short lived life.
fiona's gaze lasted a little longer before adam's conscious felt like someone was staring at him so he woke up to reveal his girlfriend glaring into his sparkling eyes.
adam laughed. "how long were you staring at me?" he questioned.
she laughed back. "just enough to think about how amazing my boyfriend is." she had a huge smile on her face.
adam leaned in towards her lips and the kiss lasted a little longer than usual. their cute moment was interrupted by connie's excitement.
they heard connie so they pulled apart. "oh my god! that was so cute!" she yelled.
usually fiona would roll her eyes at those kind of comments but all she could do was smile.
the three players hopped out of bed and began getting ready for the biggest game of their lives.
a few minutes went by and they were ready to walk on the bus and get prepare for their last game together.
adam and fiona walked hand and hand towards the bus and decided to sit in the back of the bus with the rest of the team. fiona wanted to spend more time with her favorite people.
by the time the team arrived at the hockey stadium , they were all cheering themselves on. they hopped off of the bus as their fans crowded around them cheering them on.
the fans really made the team feel a lot better going to the hardest game of their lives.
all eyes were on coach bombay. "ducks fly together!" he yelled out as they walked into the stadium.
