Dear Diary,

Derek's gone.

Gone forever.

My mom and dad are devasted.

Hannah has been constantly crying too.

And me?

I'm in the worst condition.

Why?

I killed my brother.

''It was just an accident and it wasn't entirely your fault''. That is what my logical mind wants me to think.

''But your reckless driving caused this all to happen''. My sorrowful heart cries out.

Torn between my mind and heart, I don't really know what to think and do.

Talking to you helps clear my mind.

What should I do?

What can I possibly do now?

After all, my life's ruined.
