Ethan's p.o.v

"i don't care , enough of this , you're going to school!" my mom yells at me from above my duvet. 

"Okay well give me a fucking minute" i say as i stretch.

"Be downstairs in 15" she said

i just sighed

"i have to leave for work early so make sure you take your brother, bye have a great day love you guys" she says on her way out the door.

I sit up in bed and look across the room to where Grayson was sleeping in his bed.

i throw a pillow at him to wake him up.

"Bup" i half yell.

"huh?" he wakes up confused.

"c'mon get up" i say as i stand up and stretch

I walk over to his bed and grab his hand to help him up.

"gotta go potty eth" he says.

i walk him to the bathroom where he pees and i brush my teeth.

"wash your hands" i say as i walk to the toilet and unzip my fly.

He washes his hands and we walk back into our shared room.

i open my closet and pick out an outfit , just black jeans and a hoodie.

"Eth i wear this" he says as he holds up a pair of grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt.

"Yeah, go put it on" i say.

We both change into our outfits and i take him downstairs.

He sits down at the table as i make him and i some cereal. I also got him some milk and myself some water.

we eat up and he drinks his milk.
"okay gray let's go" i say as i grab mine and his backpacks and put them by the door.

He walks over and puts his shoes on and i tie his laces.

"all buckled up?" i ask him as i drive to school.

"yup" he says

we get to school and both get out of the car.

"Okay meet me here after school and i'll pick you up, have a good day" i say walking away.

"bye bye ethy" he waves as he walks to his side of the building.

i walk up and see my group of friends.

"Hey E" my friend danny says and bro hugs me.

the rest of the group all greet me and i say "anyone got a light"

my friend Jordan gives me one and i light up.

i take a few puffs before i hear a commotion going on in the hallway.

"What's going on there?" i ask the group.

one of the boys go inside and comes back out saying

"E i think that's your brother"

"God what now" i say , dropping the cigarette to the floor and putting it out with my foot.

me and the group of 8 boys walk into the school and can see pupils moving out of the way.

as we get closer i see the situation. a group of 3 boys yelling at my brother.

i recognise them to be juniors,
but grayson is only a freshman.

"hey" i say coming up behind one of the boys.

he turns around and let's go of Grayson who was pinned up against the locker.

"What's going on here?" i ask

"nothin i was just letting him go" the boy says panicked.

i grab his collar and bring him close to my face and say "don't ever touch my brother again do you fucking hear me"

"Yes i'm sorry" he says

"say it to him"

"i'm sorry"

i let go of him and walk up to grayson.

"I'll catch up later" i say to my group as i walk to the bathroom
with gray.

as soon as we enter the bathroom he starts sobbing.

"It's okay, i'm here now" i say hugging him

"what happened" i ask after a while.

"i bumped into 'um'" he said.

"it's okay" i said.

"i wanna go back home" he sobs

"ok bud, let's go home"
