Chapter Two - Running With Danger

I heard voices but I couldn't make them out everything was pitch black until the voices became more clear "what now Dante?" I felt my body tense I remembered everything that had happened "wake up" I heard in a muffled tone it was like my body was lifting itself without me I opened my eyes as I stood in front of them "what am I doing here!?" I said "that's none of your concern for now" Dante said "welcome to your new home" the blonde guy said I heard Dante say his name once I think it was Nick "excuse me?" I said shocked "Nico show her, her new room" Dante said and Nico grabbed my wrist not hard but not softly just enough to get me to follow without hurting me.

We walked up to a huge estate and I was mesmerized I'm definitely NOT in New York anymore "this is where we live and now you do too" Dante said I looked at it some more as we walked through the gate it was the nicest house I've ever seen.

We walked through a door from the outside into the lounge room "this place is so beautiful" I said "I'm thinking of re-decorating" Dante said looking at the room "again?" Nico said, how many times does this guy re-decorate his house "Nico take her to her room" "follow me principessa" he said and we walked through a large hallway.

We walked into a huge beautiful room it had a canopy bed and a vanity dresser and much more "this is your room" Nico said "t-thanks" I said nervously this guy really made me feel on edge he was really tall and intimidating "you don't need to be scared of us principessa we won't hurt you" that makes me feel a little better "at least not yet" he added and the nervous feeling is back "if you stay out of our way you should be fine, just don't be difficult" "oh, and don't piss Dante off, it was you mouthing off to him that pissed him off to take you, you don't wanna know what will happen to you if you do it again" well that's not really reassuring like at all "oh and one more thing" "shoot" I said "what's your name?" "Lillyanna I go by Lill's though" "very pretty name, I'm Nico Dante's cugino" "what does that mean?" "cousin" "oh" "good night principessa" he said and walked out and closed the door, I guess it's time for bed maybe this won't be too bad.

Dante's POV: I stood in the bar room and Nico walked in "where's the pain in my ass?" "asleep" he said and I felt relieved "thank fuck" "she drives me fucking insane and I don't even know her" "women, cugino, women" he said.

The next morning.

I can't deny it, that was the best sleep I've ever had I walked to the closet attached to my room and picked out something to wear I heard a knock on my door I threw on a dress and walked out to see Dante standing in my doorway he had a cigarette between his lips and a sexy smirk "morning" he said in a husky tone he smelt of whiskey and tobacco it was kind of sexy "good morning" I said walking over to him "I didn't know if you knew you could use the clothes in the closet" "I borrowed some anyway" I said awkwardly I was so close to his warm body and strong scent it was like euphoria for me I was engulfed in the smell of whiskey coming from his lips "I can see that" he said smirking and I stood there nervously "I'll uh see you downstairs, breakfast is nearly ready if you're hungry" "okay" I said as he walked out and shut the door.

I walked down to the kitchen and saw Dante and Nico smoking "morning guys" I said and they turned to me "you're in a better mood this morning principessa" Nico said "well since I'm obviously not leaving anytime soon I may as well make this place my home too" I said and I saw Dante flash a smile then it disappeared quickly "hungry?" Dante said "very" I responded.

I finished my breakfast it was so delicious "we're going to the airport, you won't try and escape will you?" Dante said with a serious tone that perfectly matched his serious face "maybe I will maybe I won't" I said playfully and he looked at me "well maybe I'll tie you to the bed and maybe I won't" he said and my legs went to jelly he definitely knows how to take my breath away "can't I just come with you?" I said and his expression changed to a softer one "sure" he said "only if you'll behave yourself" he added "promise" I snickered "let's go then" Nico said as he pulled me out of our moment I had completely forgotten he was there and I think Dante did too "let's go" Dante said and we all left.

We pulled up at a huge airport we walked over to a area that had a PRIVATE PERSONAL ONLY sign on it I saw a guy in the distance he was a spitting image of Dante, he walked up to us and it was more than obvious that they were twins he looked exactly like Dante apart from his sky blue eyes unlike Dante's piercing green ones "brother, cugino, long time no see" he said his accent was thick not as thick as the others he looked me up and down "and who is this Bella Donna?" he said eyeing me "this is Lill's and she's off limits" Dante said moving me behind him "calm down fratello, I won't take what's yours" his brother said "let's get going" Dante said "don't worry about Luca, he's an idiot" Dante said to me when Nico and Luca walked away, we both walked to Dante's car and drove off.

He pulled up at some sort of warehouse he put in a code and the door opened I saw Luca and Nico talking at the bar area I went to meet with them but some girl with tacky brown hair stopped me "who are you and how did you get in?" she said as she put her cigarette to her lips and blew the smoke in my face, this bitch has no idea who she's messing with time for some fun "I came with Dante, Nico and Luca" "bullshit" she said "the only thing that's bullshit is your tacky hair dye job" I said cockily "you better watch your mouth little girl" she said pulling out a gun from her jacket pocket "I may be little but I can take you on horse face" as I said that she went to swing at me I caught her fist and punched her ribs then punched her in the face she took almost nothing to take out she fell to the ground coughing blood "I told you" I said I walked away but walked right into Dante's chest.

"What was that about?" he said with his arms crossed but I was already in my element "she started it!" I said pushing past him but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back and I slammed into his rock hard chest "what are you two?" he said "no as a matter of fact, I'm three" I said as I tried to get out of his grip "let's go firecracker" he said dragging me to follow "I'm gonna leave because I want to not because you're pulling me" I said "fine, now move!" he said as he pulled me along with him.

We walked to this balcony that led from his office upstairs "wanna tell me what the fuck that was back there?" he said letting me go "she started it" I said "you're not in preschool get the fuck over it" "come with me we're going somewhere" he said "where?" I asked "anywhere away from here" he said "fine" I said and instead of grabbing my wrist again he put his hand out for me to take and I took his hand in mine and we walked back inside to go to his car.

We arrived at a small park "it's so cute" I said sitting on a swing "thanks for bringing me here" I said in a flirtatious tone. Dante's POV: I looked her up and down she thanked me in a sexy voice I looked at her plump red lips I walked up to her and grabbed her face gently and I smashed my lips onto hers she tasted like sugar and smelt like vanilla her scent was intoxicating and her taste was exhilarating.
