utopia

i've been dreaming of the day people
will not be judged by the color of
their skin, or
by their religion or sexuality.
i've been dreaming of the day everyone
is treated as equal,
regardless of gender or legal status.
i've been dreaming of the day the
world isn't filled with hatred.
if only, it wasn't all just
a dream.
