Mini me has always been my tail. She has always been of much help to me in the kitchen. But I dare not let her go close to fire

I made breakfast and we all settled on the dining table to dive in.

Bathed the kids and got them ready well because it's a weekend and daddy promised to take them shopping.

And In two hours we were all set to go.

I listened to the conversation that transpired between mayisha(my wife) and our two kids Mimi and fawwaz

I love how she trains our kids.
She makes them realize their mistake in a playful manner. She's just the best

Daddy I'm sorry fawwaz's voice brought me out of my thoughts.

You shall get your biscuits I added my gaze not leaving the road.

And the journey continued.

While fawwaz and Mimi kept gisting us about their friends in school and teacher.

I parked in front of the mall and we all descended from the car and headed in.

It was a hectic shopping with the kids jumping up and down, wanting this and that. With their little dramas here and their. It was quite entertaining though.

After two hours of shopping I took us to an ice cream joint where we had lots of fun too.

We had to do take aways too. We just couldn't have enough of it.

On our way out, mayisha was urging the kids to move out of the way as someone was about entering the joint but didn't finish her sentence.

She stood there dumbfounded. I looked to see whom her eyes were so focused on.

He was moving towards my wife!

I quickly stood in front of my wife and kids facing this face I hated the most.

I gritted my teeth talking very quietly but audible enough for him to hear.

One step near my wife and I swear to God I'll kill you.

I quickly urged the kids to move out. I know they had a lot of questions

Mayisha was still glued to her spot. She couldn't move nor say a word. Tears were filled in her eyes and she was just an ounce away to cry.

And seeing him brought all those memories back.

Seeing their mum crying made Mimi cry too she hugged her mum petting her

As much as I wanted to not smile, I just had to.

We got into the car and it was a quiet drive home.

With mayisha's silent subs and mimis consolation.
