I just found Wattpad's Shakespeare page! I'm literally the most happiest person on earth right now.
Incase you couldn't tell I love Shakespeare.
I usually read a book- any book be it a Wattpad novel or a real life book- twice to decide if they make it to my favourites list. On that note here are my favourite works of Shakespeare:
1. Julius Caesar.
(No matter how many other works of Shakespeare I'll read, I think this on will always be my favourite. So much so that I can actually say Antony's speech from memory)
2. Much Ado About Nothing.
(I don't know about y'all but I think that Beatrice and Benedick are the predecessors of the quirky, sassy female protagonists and pretend-misogynist male leads of today's romantic cliches in some, but not all aspects.)3. Sonnet 55.
4. Sonnet 18
5. Romeo and Juliet. Some of my favourite quotes/lines:
"What can be avoided
Whose end is purposed by the mighty gods?"
(Julius Caesar, Caesar - act II, scene II)"Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste of death but once."
(Julius Caesar, Caesar - act II, scene II)"...stay at home to-day for fear.
No, Caesar shall not: danger knows full well
That Caesar is more dangerous than he:
We are two lions litter'd in one day,
And I the elder and more terrible:
And Caesar shall go forth."
(Julius Caesar, Caesar - act II, scene II)"Into what dangers would you lead
me, Cassius,
That you would have me seek
into myself
For that which is not in me?"
(Julius Caesar, Marcus Brutus - act I, scene II)•••••~•••••~•••••~•••••~•••••~•••••
I have a truckload of lines from Julius Caesar that I love and I would love to add them all here, but I have a physics test to study for and it gets really tiring to type on your phone. So I think I'll do random updates in this chapter to add more.
