I had finished reading the witches file as nik came back with a devilish smirk on his face seeming too happy about something
"what are you doing?" he questions seeing the stack of files on the coffee table infront of me
"just getting some general knowledge on the towns supernatural residents" I shrug leaning back into the sofa
"what about you though?" I ask "you seem abit happy for some unknown reason" I question with a raised brow
"well I found out how they are gonna try to kill me" he says with a grin
my face scrunches up in confusion looking at my bestfriend who has obviously lost his marbles
"oh thats great to know" I say sarcastically
"well it is, cause im gonna kill the witch first" he smirks
"bonnie bennett?" I ask picking her file back up goingg through it again
"thats the one love" he replies
he saunters into the kitchen grabbing two glasses and a bottle of scotch.
"hmm thats a shame, I was looking forward to meeting a descendant of ayana" I reply boredly
he takes a seat next to me handing me a drink and I set the file down turning my body to nik
"heres to the next step of breaking our curse" he says
"to breaking the curse" I reply with a smile
we clink our glasses and take a gulp of the scotch setting our glasses down
"so who have you read up on so far?" he asks while leaning into the sofa
"the doppleganger, the witch and the famous salvatore brothers" I reply dully
he chuckles taking another sip of his drink "im glad your here vie" he suddenly says
"me too nik" I reply with a small smile
"over a 1000 years we have waited for this moment" he says with so much emotion in his voice
"and its finally come took bloody long enough" I finish
we chug the rest of our drinks down and decide to have an early night
"ill see you tomorrow vie" he kisses my forehead before going to bed
"night nikky" I call to him as I get comfy on the sofa
'I hope to see you again one day' I thought to myself before going off into dreamland
