"ERROR!!" I screamed as he fell.

Catching him in my arms (ye like those cliche movies or somethin'), I slowly put him down on the floor.

He was hit right in his soul. I turned to looked at the fake Dream, who was in an aiming position, a smirk wide and clear.

Nightmare and Cross immediately jumped into action, knocking him back down onto the ground. Nightmare pinned him down with his tentacles while Cross pinned his clothes down with his knives.

"Error!" I yelled again.

Error's eyes were dull with death. "I know, Ink. Do what I said. It'll explain everything. Get my memories first. And... I'll see you again..."

He slowly took my hand and put it to his (nonexistent) lips, before dropping completely.

Dusted.

Shattered.

Dead.

"Error..." I repeated, shaking his dusting body. "Error! ERROR!!"

Nightmare and Cross sprang up, looking towards our direction in concern, before spotting Error. Both their faces fell in grief, Nightmare shaking.

"Error, you'd better come back. You said you were paying for our bills, you little cheating destroyer!" Nightmare yelled, running over, tugging at Error.

I cried.

And I had drunk an emotion vial. I still cried.

I had emotions...

And I hated it.

"Error..." I called again and again. Slowly the process of his dusting had reached. All left were his clothes, his blue scarf I had made for him a long time ago, and... a note.

Reaching for the note, I picked it up and read it.

'Get my memories. Go to our attic. I believe in you, I know you can do it. Everything will be revealed in time... See you soon, my love.

~Error'

If that's what his last... no if that's what his wish is, that's what I'll do.

"Nightmare!" I yelled in impatience. "Give me his memories!"

"W-why-"

"Give. It!!" I yelled again.

He slowly took out black orbs, full of my dead love's broken memories. They were slowly fading.

I quickly painted out a preserving jar. It should keep the memories alive.

"Now, to find Drea-"

"If you're going to restart this little game your lover made, Dream isn't here, but here are your dead lover's memories," the fake Dream hissed.

Positivity orbs were thrown at me. I caught them and checked.

Sure enough, there were memories. Memories of me and Error, and a lot more. But they were fading.

I put them into the jar along with the positive orbs.

"Why are you helping us?" I narrowed my eyes.

"With you alive instead of Error, this won't go well, so..."

A loud shriek came from Nightmare.

I flipped my head to them.

Cross' purple blood had already formed a puddle.

"CROSS!!" Nightmare shrieked, catching Cross and shaking him. "WAKE UP!!"

Cross' eyes of terror flickered towards Nightmare. "N-Nightmare..."

"You won't die!! You won't... You won't die!" Nightmare yelled, shaking him again. Cross smiled tiredly to the octopus.

"Sorry, Nighty..."

Cross also started dusting, purple blood slowly stopping from dripping.

"Cross..."

Tears. Nightmare.

Nightmare was crying.

"N-Nightmare..." I mumbled slowly in shock.

"D-Don't go near me..."

The goopy crying monster slowly kissed his lover's heart locket and picked it up, along with everything else.

I created two jars; for Error's and Cross' dust.

Some of their dust had already flown away,  but there were some other. I quickly labelled them and handed Cross' to Nightmare's wordlessly.

We knew the fake Dream was there.

But he had disappeared.

"Nightmare..." I started. "Let's go back to the mansion, along with everyone."

Nightmare looked at me, his eyes betraying nothing, only grief and depression. He nodded and took his hand out of his pocket, teleporting back.

I teleported too.

"We won!"

Almost immediately after we appeared back into the mansion, everyone flooded us with warm welcomes and cheers.

"Hey... Where's Cross and Error?" Lust piped up.

We all fell silent. I looked at the ground, unable to meet anyone's eyes.

"T-This is a joke... Right?" Killer's voice cracked in shock. "Please tell me this is a joke."

"I'm sorry, please excuse me," I managed to croak out, before making it to upstairs.

The attic.

I opened the door to the attic and went in, into the same place Error had shown me with mystery. I could literally see the past him and I, just being... us. I walked under to the 'passage'. Locked.

Looking around the room, I found some sort of box. A music box. Inside, it played a song. I had no recognization, but I opened the music box. It had some sort of key attached to a string, possibly used as a necklace.

Probably the lock.

I went back to the locked door thing and fit the lock in, which matched perfectly. I opened the door. It looked pitch black.

Jumping in and letting the darkness engulf me, I closed my eyes.

"Gah-" I let slip out as I landed.

I jumped back up, rubbing my eyes to adjust to the darkness. It wasn't completely dark, but it wasn't very bright, either. But the brightness came from one part of this emptiness.

A screen.

"What the," I mumbled, walking over.

The light blinded me as I took a look at the saves.

There were 3 files. All of them labelled "ERROR.EXE//RESET".

"Error...?" I continued to browse through the files, looking at everything. There was some sort of folders to different things, including files to souls, saves, and... resets.

I decided to look at souls first.

'INK COMYET'

'ERROR CQ'

'NIGHTMARE JOKU'

And so on, but a certain one caught my eyes...
