At first, Katharine adored Thomas but then Thomas's achievements started to overshadow her and she felt Thomas was a unwanted burden she needed to get rid of. She slowly but carelessly plotted his death and was then murdered by Thomas's oldest sibling out of rage. She died fast and just moments after Thomas.
