I’ve never had anything against Maia but I knew she hated me. Before I became Theodore, she often misled him so he would anger his father and Alex. She had poisoned him before…,and Alex but he doesn’t know that. Theodore cared so much that he often upset his brother while saving his life. They all thought he was just a cruel and jealous child and he let them think that. Behind the scenes though he protected them at the cost of his own life. He learned martial arts in secret so he could protect his siblings from assassins. His father probably figured their guards were doing their job, a reasonable assumption. However the guards mostly sleep, eat and bully Alex and Theo by Maia’s orders. If he was still Theodore, he would suffer in silence but he’s Thomas so he’s too lazy to run himself ragged protect everyone, getting amazing grades and being a noble. He’s definitely going to tell his father. Perhaps father will spoil him a little now. I hope he at least punishes the guards.
