Chapter 1: Monday Mornings

6:57 AM Monday

Morgyn's thoughts to herself

I have been up all damn night, it is almost time for Mehki to get up. I wish I could have a break or just some help sometimes! between work and here I have no time to myself. I'm always running around to back to back. I barely have time to eat and wash my ass. I am the sole provider for my son and myself, in the divorce, my ex became bitter and gives me little to nothing to help out. I can't bring myself to let child support handle him and make him even more bitter; fuck it, ill handle it myself.

she get's out of bed and puts her robe on, "Thank god that I am off today because I surely did oversleep" she says to herself as she looks in the mirror. " I look like a damn racoon I need some rest "

Morgyn walks over to mehki's room, and proceed to wake him up.

she kisses him " Muah, come on boo its time daycare baby," she says shaking him.
"I don't want to go mommy!" He says still asleep

she looks at him with wide eyes and says " Daddy is picking you up today though aren't you happy baby? better get up or daddy will be mad !" Her son darts out of the bed and screams about how happy he is going to be to see daddy after daycare today.

" Mommy is going to make you breakfast, go in mommy's top drawer in her room and get you your eczema medicine out for your face okay ?" She says examining his face, he looks little flaky this morning.
He says okay and proceeds to go into her room.
Morgyn decides to start on breakfast so she walked to the kitchens and gets started.

while Morgyn is making breakfast she gets a FaceTime from her Ex, Marcus. " Yeah?" she answers, you can see the annoyance on her face.

" What's up? where's Mehki ?" he says curiously " He's in the room hold on- Mehki!" she calls out to her son, and switches the camera around so that it would be facing Mehki as he walked out of the room.

" Here I am Mommy, why you hide this toy from me ?" He says holding up Morgans purple vibrator with a sad face " it got the buzzing sound too look!" he says pressing the different speed

" What the fuck is that " She can see her ex squinting at the camera. " what is what ?- Oh my fucking God! Mehki give that to me now! go wash up! " she was so embarrassed.

" Damn you miss the dick that much? a vibrator seriously Morgyn damn you are down bad! that cant take my place" he laughs into the camera. she takes the phone and put her face directly into the camera.

" Marcus, I have needs, I'm single let me use my fucking vibrator. and I don't know why the fuck you calling me to talk to Mehki when I bought Mehki an iPad just for this reason, you have so much to say but no money help me with your child, BYE!" She hangs up fast.

All Marcus heard was the three beeps when the call ended, he tried calling back but he gave up and just proceeded to call his son's iPad. Morgan proceeds with her day, feeding khi and dropping him off to daycare.
She walks back to her car.
" I haven't had a day off in so long I don't know what to do with myself-" soon as she says that ironically Her best friend Candice calls her, " Hello?" she answers. " About time you answer the damn phone! what you doing girl you work today ?" Candice asks excitedly. " Can you blame me for being busy? I have to take care of home all by myself now you know? and girl im off " Morgan laughs. " Divorce finally finalized already? and yes girl let's go get drinks!" she tells her.

" okay but Candice you know I need to be home for when my plumber comes because my pipes are messed up, I have to use the guest bathroom when I tell you if it's not one thing it's another, I just got my shower fixed!" she says worriedly.
